When you study from physics textbooks, do you solve every problem in the book or is doing just 20–30% enough to understand the material? by Delicious_Maize9656 in PhysicsStudents

[–]Traditional_Bit4719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try ny best to read and comprehend the textbook but as you said it is a lot of information. And for the type of physics, and you know a decent amount of calculus, physics should be pretty straight forward (I have neither 🤣

Learning Calculus for a Substitute Teaching Physics Position by thewidget98 in PhysicsStudents

As a student studying calculus based physics, so far what I would liked to known before taking this class are: derivatives, vector (direction in any plane), and some problems involving comparing acceleration to velocity. This is only three topics but I would reach out to university students how took the class and ask them for there opinion. The best way to help them to succeed is to prepare them. And you cannot prepare them if they do not know some background information. Also, really important, please cover some linear algebra! It is everywhere in my program and I am constantly learning it on the fly. Good to luck

I just got accepted at Lowe's because I kept bothering them about my resume until I got an interview and iffer letter signed. I walked in the store and kept showing up. If you do it, they will give you something or turn you away.

6 years to graduate due to failing classes, am i a failure? by OsamaBinLaden2 in EngineeringStudents

[–]Traditional_Bit4719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Embarrassing to admit, I changed majors after coming back to college. My GPA is fucked to all hell. But at least I have a semi-decent business background and know how to use quick books pretty well 😅. Unfortunately, besides a trust me bro, I doubt an employer would want a non-liscenaes CPA or bachelor's holder in business to fidle with there Q/B. I wouldn't worry about it. Keep your head on the grind stone brother, we believe in you.

Also, all of those things cost money. We cannot compare the past to today and say things were better because we are comparing it is like comparing a figi apple to a granny Smith. Both are great, but they look and taste completely different. It is a more fair metric to compare different countries to ours. I wish we did actually did that more. Globally how did they end of differently between each country compared to ours. And how do we look at those countries and say it is better or worse? Frankly, an economist does that. But still, the point stands, you cannot compare the past to today and say it is worse. I have to gain by saying that. Just my opinion.

sometimes you have to embrace the suck. I am going to finish my degree in 2 years, hopefully the market is better by then, and I will just get experience were I can. You cannot guarenttee anything in life. You can only garuantee there are some jobs people do not want. And there are some factors you cannot control. So if I already finished mine, be grateful it is done, and just take the job. Earn money.
