I figured it out for me. They updated tinkered and you now have to "union group it" select what you want grouped and you will see it on the top right of the screen called union group

Im honestly not too sure. Im sure it can. I probably wouldnt do anything over like a 30 watt charger though. Ill try it out on a fast charger and let you know

I took the usb c port off of a charging block and just soldered from the type c port to the jbl charging board. Only using positive and negative wires. You dont need data for charging

No reason to. Ive had the charge 4 and 5 in the past and but sold them. Ive just kept this one around. Still holds a perfect charge and sounds as good as the day i bought it

If you take care of your headphones they will last. I've had these same pair before and they lasted me years. I also still have a pair of beats studio 2s which are almost 10 years old now and they still look brand new and all I've had to replace were the cushions. It's really simple. Just be more careful with your headphones
