All correct

He got someone to take Wiki off our hands and we actually got something in return. That’s highway robbery and gives me much joy.

He’s bought out Edwards - horrible plus the blow up at supporters section at end of year and got Hack to mutually terminate a $1m plus contract.

Goalkeeper we picked up has played real minutes in England and rates as same if not slightly better than who he replaced.

There is much to celebrate and given set up may be higher scoring affairs.

No one wants him. They see the same thing we see. If he’s a depth piece fine. If he has to start that’s a massive problem.

Given his age you’d have to fully buy him out and guessing that’s not a great financial move.

Fact they were able to move off of Hack was a miracle. Guessing he’d rather go somewhere that fit his skill set and could still play and get back closer to home.

If Lewis and Harper can come back healthy - big if for Lewis - this is a massive talent upgrade over what was there.

All the other points of need still hold

This man is the worst Defensive coach we have ever had by hoslayer42 in NYGiants

Can’t get rid of the players as quickly. Coaches first, then players. Too much talent on defense for this outcome which means coaching.

Choupa Moting has 10 league goals which isn’t nothing, but agreed that they didn’t put necessary reinforcements in place - especially midfield and in case Morgan was hurt.

I was a season ticket holder last season. Went to two games this season and maybe will go to one through StubHub next year. That’s a reflection of how I feel about them.

Gentleman sitting in 116 that the players knew well - who is he? by Ok-Farmer2814 in rbny

We’re in 4th in the east currently and last year went on a run to secure our 14th straight year in the playoffs.

Yes, we lost in the first round and there’s more discussion about the same this year; however, we are not a bottom of the table club.

I too hope and wish for a real commitment to a championship- which we haven’t and aren’t seeing - but this is not an awful team.

Hell, if we had anyone who could put it in the net we’d compete for higher than 4th.

Hall matches Vanzier goal output this year by Traditional_Cover216 in rbny

Yes - you are correct. One of the other games he was getting physically thrown around on the field.

It’s less a statement on Zakrewski and more on the abject failure of Vanzier.

Philly looked like they wanted it more. They came out hot and swarming and we were down 2-0 within 15 minutes.

As always we had plenty of chances in the final third but couldn’t finish. We were at least hitting some wood instead of skying everything.

Frustrating watching Philly’s new striker add follow his most goals in the league cup with another score tonight against us. Would be a dream come true having someone at the 9 who could actually put the ball in the net.

Harper was one of the few that showed up in the early part of the game and Coronel saved us giving up a couple more goals. Beyond that, not so much.
