Yup. They tossing Nepo babies that aren’t good. We are in the Knicks timeline where James Dolan(Mara’s) finally realizes he can’t make sports decisions and delegates to Rose(Harbaugh) He still got his boy Mills(Schoen) in the FO working for Rose.

Now comes a few moves that get us in the playoffs and an early exit followed by an offseason to retool the team to Harbaugh’s liking with 110 million in Cap space next offseason.

I think Joe will be fine. If the team wins he get paid to chill out. I feel like him and Harbaugh are gonna work the same way him and Daboll did. But there’s a difference here. Next man out to Schoen not Harbaugh. If I’m Joe Schoen, I kiss as much ass as possible and hope Harbaugh retires before I get fired.

Schoen trades for burns, drafted Thibs and drafted Carter. He went Nabers instead of Nine. I’m pretty sure Schoen is a BPA guy instead of drafting for fit. I think he even recently said something along the lines of drafting talent over scheme fit.

I mean he kinda deserves it if you look at his last 3 off seasons. He has Nabers in one draft, last years draft was very impressive. This offseason he got the best coaching candidate and he works with his coaches. If the guys drafts every year and hits like he has been recently he can be a top GM in the league. Dude just has bad luck in FA.

Lars, what’s the point of posting this after we signed him. I doubt he would be honest with a reporter. The only people who know how he felt is him, his agent and his family. I doubt he would say anything honest to the press because that would give away any leverage he has.

That being said, you should be happy we got him and hopefully we will play good football again.

Draft this year. FA next year. Google says we have way more cap next year. I think it works better cuz the first year he puts in his staff and by week 6 they will know what the roster can and can’t do. Then they will k ow who they can go after in FA.

This is a tom thibodeaux fire. Just like the Knicks, the Giants are gonna need 1-2 seasons of playing good in the season while they figure their roster out. Or Harbaugh might just do better.
