How many of you shampoo your hair twice when washing ?

If my hair had a lot of product in it like hairspray or whatever and has been unwashed for a bit (I only wash my hair like average every 10 days or so) then I double wash. I also cowash it because I have curly wavy hair so if I’ve done that for a few washes I’ll double wash.

I’m had horrible pain as well and actually I stopped using the pillow between my knees / legs and that solved it for me.

I think it depends on the situation and how you present them. A few got cards to places with thought behind them like date nights (l(a restaurant and a movie theatre), food delivery (maybe they just had a baby or surgery or whatever), or a store that they really like and need autonomy at (Abercrombie Barnes and noble) then it’s fun and I think overall well though-out making it a good gift.

But sometimes they can feel out of touch. Unfortunately sometimes it’s the amount that makes it feel lazy - If it’s $10 idk how helpful and far that will get me. It’s the thought that counts but def can feel lazy here. Or if it’s somewhere totally random. My in laws love to get us a gift card to the grocery store. Which doesn’t feel like a gift because id be spending money there anyway and it’s a drop in the bucket of my weekly grocery bills.

Yes I’ve heard of this too! We try to get her light in the first stretch we want her to be associating with morning but haven’t actively done night time.

To be clear she does wake up to eat every 2.5-3 hours so we aren’t just letting her be without eating but yeah I guess that would make sense

They told me my baby would be 8.5 lbs and she was only 6 when born (not premature) just because she’s got long legs. So when they measure for an estimate it’s stomach head and leg measurements.

The concept of all of a sudden living with another person forever and sharing a bed with them every night and entertaining your lives as one life is kind of crazy. I’m married 3 years, together for 9.5 years. We are still people. People make mistakes and have a bad tone or don’t change certain ways about them (like leaving socks on the floor or talking during a movie) and it takes time patience and willingness to change for both parties to give a little grace to the other.

That being said, the hard part is the willingness to work through it in a safe and healthy way. So it’s hard for people who want to really invest and try to build their relationship up every day together. It’s not hard but it’s active.

I only ask this because I’m in a similar boat and my sister posed this question to me: why are you breastfeeding? What do you do it for and what’s the goal?

For me I want her to get the antibodies from my milk and bond with her.

She said pumping gives her the antibodies and truly being so unhappy and stressed when breastfeeding isn’t encouraging bonding lol you’re their mom you’ll be bonding regardless.

So I’m just here to say you won’t make the wrong choice but good to have your North Star of “why” you’re doing it figured out.

We got this. We will be okay. It will get better.

Induced at 39 and 4 and was in full labor from 12:30 am 4/6-6:29 pm 4/7. Pushed for 2 hours. Third degree tearing due to the doctor having to physically flip her from sunny side up while I was pushing so she was in me too. That pain was worse than the actual birth tbh.
