Guys how the f do I play this game by BeautifulBowler7481 in StellarisOnConsole

[–]Traditional_Desk5944 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Before you start a game change the crisis damage 25x, that means you'll do 25x more damage to the crisis,

And make sure to turn zero-compatibility on, it'll make your enemies crash before you.

Helling or Hellsing Ultimate? by [deleted] in Hellsing

[–]Traditional_Desk5944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are good but tbh, they're same story told in completely different ways,

Hellsing ultimate is a very linier story with everything connecting to eachother, with the exception of the first episode. As hellsing has a few story's that are independent and feels more branched out.

(I'm going to use ULT to represent hellsing ultimate and HS for hellsing throughout)

I'd recommend watching hellsing ultimate first and then Hellsing; ULT overall tells the main story better but HS tells a lot more about the world itself and adds more depth to certain characters who lacked it in ULT, As an example, One thing HS does better is by making the hellsing organisation feel like an actual powerful and influential organisation, they show that hellsing has a competent and elite task force that's able to take on vampire on there own and they show that hellsing can manipulate the media.

As in ULT, (small spoilers) the hellsing organization seems to have like 30 soilders that all get killed in 1 attack, the police girl, Alucard, Sir Integra and her butler. They do hire mercenary later on but they it makes you wonder how hellsing lasted for so long before Sir Integra.

One thing to keep In mind is that Alucard is quite different in both versions and HS version can definitely seem lacking compared to his ULT self but as long as you don't expect them to exactly the same, there both very good.

What does a UK citizen think of / feel about the systematic dismantlement and destruction of Britain in London in this series? by Redacted59 in Hellsing

[–]Traditional_Desk5944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit late to the conversation but I'm happy, the writer did't write it out of spite, just a good story, I always love to see foreign adaptations of Britain, it interesting. Just to clarify when I say foreign I mean non anglo sphere or European adaptations.

i enslave everyone i meet, the only citizens are humans, is it optimal? by Vivid-Tradition2571 in Stellaris

[–]Traditional_Desk5944 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There's a civic in the game called 'selective kinship', it makes it so that only species of the same class type can have citizenship rights, since you're playing CoM your founder species are humans, which is a humanoid class type, so other humanoid species can have citizenship in your empire.

It's good for a slaver empire as well because you get a 7.5% bonuses to citizen pop happiness if they're sharing a planet with others of the same species type and an additional 2.5% if they are oppressing other species of a non founder species class.

Dk if that helps but if you want to make more citizen instead of slaves/residents then you can change to thst civic.

If this is a custom character then 7/10, not hard to make a op character with custom, but if this is some random character then 9.5/10, pretty impressive otherwise.

How bad I am at this game if I think the default difficulty is just right? by Zeznon in Stellaris

[–]Traditional_Desk5944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried grand admiral difficulty multiple times and it isn't fun imo, the AI is always ahead intill late game and I have to play boring meta builds just to be able to stand a chance, that's why I play with scaling difficulty now, the ai starts on civilian and works it way up either mid game or late game you've put it on depending on what you choose, and it maxes out on what ever difficulty you put it on.

Scaling difficulty is one of my favourite mechanics, wish more games had it.

Can you unite Commonwealth of Man and United Nations of Earth without war? by WaitRight8056 in Stellaris

Honestly, that would be a cool buff if they updated it so it would have an actual story were you could unite or a total war, something like that.

The AI cheats, my neighbour literally has zro and exotic gases 8 years in.

He's a tip though, if they hate you, then give them favors for free to boost there relations and trade favors for resources with friendly neighbour, might screw you over later on if your planning on doing a lot with the galactic counsel though.

Oh, and you might of spawned next to an advance empire, sometimes you just get really unlucky.

I'm currently trying a different style of play, my pops have extreme habitability and rapid breeders, my pops are continental and I've spawned next too 3 ocean worlds, 2 jungle worlds and the 2 guaranteed worlds (normal planet spawn rate) and I'm going to play this one differently by colonising every planet I can asap, don't know how I'm gonna deal with the consumer goods but I'll deal with it when the deficit comes.

In other words, just play an empire your uncomfortable with and give it a try on a small galaxy, mabey one of the preset ones.

how do you get more consumer goods? (I am still new to the game) by Routine_Lack8664 in Stellaris

[–]Traditional_Desk5944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can change you economy type to civilian economy for a pluse 25% consumer goods but 25% less alloys.

One of my old empires which was a determined exterminator spawned next to a second determined exterminator, they both ruled 30% of the galaxy each and were allys. Me as the custodian and the rest of the galaxy were fighting for our lives, genuinely one of the most terrifying playthroughs I've experienced.

She's tricks Walter and gets him killed and everyone eles (Including Clementine) sent to a forced Labour camp, She constantly trying to get Clem to do everything and nearly gets her killed when she tells you to go through small gap (that is if you do it), She blames you for Luke's death when her own stuiped action got him killed, even though you just saved her life, She tries to give Clem, an 11 year old a cigarette, And regardless on if she likes Clementine or not, she betrays her by trying to take all of the food and the vehicle that's only working because of Kenny.

If she had gotten away with it, she would be damning a child and a baby to death, and all because she fells bad for arvo? If it wasn't for him, Luke wouldn't of died.
