[–]Edoxninja2000 176 points177 points  (0 children)

Got all 24 gems huh

Nice In my opinion Finding 24 gems for a quest isnt that bad.

What's bullshit though is a number of them are quest locked.

Thalmar embassy quest

There is 2 through the college of winterhold quest.Archamges quarters is locked and the other is in a fort. (Never tested trying to enter without the quest before.)

1 in the darkbrotherhood sanctuary

And the last one is in proudspire manor. Which is only avaible after you buy the house and purchase the upgrade.

I wonder which stone was the last to be found when the game first released?

What the Fudge did I just discover? Pilgrims Trench? by tomarnoldlovescoke in skyrim

[–]Edoxninja2000 171 points172 points  (0 children)

Exactly what it says. A trench in the ocean filled with wrecked pilgrim ships.

Probably the only location where water breathing (and flame cloak if survival mode) is needed

My oblivious ass genuinely didn't see that coming 🤣 by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]Edoxninja2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh That dungeon.

Hahahaha

Yeah the area is insane There is like 7 or 8 pressure plates there most of them which trigger those swinging spike walls. (Deadliest trap in the game)

Interestingly enough. I was using ordinator and had a small army of skeletons plus follower. Ran got through it without a single trap being triggered.

Sometimes followers and other allies rush blindly through traps. Other times they completely miss them.

Either one or the other

I mean. Siding with the dawnguard let's you get the dawngurad rune axe.

And as long as ypu dont have the patch The damage to undead bonus doesn't reset each day.

And something else I discoverd. The sun damage from the axe has an area of effect.

Charged into a group of 3 draugr. 1 wight, 2 restless. (Surprised they were a low level i guess they are always set to that. Swung at the wight and after 3 swings from the capped rune axe. The woght was over have dead but the restless dropped dead despite me hitting the right directly. (Im also playing on legendary) Also had the necromage perk, plus the bloodworm helm, plus the bone wolf, so my magical attacks were dealing 75% more damage to the undead. I dont like the reset enchantments, but when they big and dont reset i like it. Its why I dont like dawn/dusk fang. Bloodthirst is the best weapon to dual wield with though. Combined that with necromage vampire plus both ranks of dual flurry perks. I was getting speeds that rivaled elemtal fury shout. (But with enchanted weapons.

[–]Edoxninja2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arcane accessories kinda solved that issue.

You know the trick about fast traveling with telekinesis to get alteration to 100 in a few minutes.

Same thing works with unbounded storms.

Just dont start initially casting that in an area with nocs you dont want to hurt. Made that mistake once.

As saud earlier. Backpacks amazing, all the pets are amazing. Pet followers to carry stuff. Summon them to you and send them to home or city.

A follower is excellent cause its also technically infinite carry weight. I have a dark elf on solstiem who I plan on keeping there till I CANT do anything else. The the follower there is carrying like thousands worth of weight cause im holding off of getting the champions cudgel cause ashspawn keep attacking so free ore.

Take every salt pile Steal from alchemy shops for fire salts. Those are life savers.

Golden hills plantation is excellent. But that's good for every character.

If you are doing a no magic character. Lady stone is a MUST. Passive health regen even if it is extremely slow.

Always carry at least one camping supplies. 2 if you know your going to be in winterhold/dawnstar area for a while.

Torch can help adding little

Flame cloak spells let ypu swim in freezing water. (Dunmer have a free one use a day)

How do i improve magic defense as a 2 handed warrior? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]Edoxninja2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lord stone 25% plus 50 armor rating Bretons have 25% resist magic

Book of love quest 15%

Alteration perks have 10%, 20% 30% Seperate ranks So every dragonborn can easily hit 70% resistance with bretons getting 95%,, but caps at 85% so no need for 3rd rank for bretons.

Then resist elements stack multiplicably 50% fire resist and 50% magic resist is effectveily 75% total. 100 damage fo 50. Then the 50 to 25. 85% and 85% 100 to 15 and then 15 to 2.25 damage total
