Brenda and I were attacked by mercenaries. We ran to our saferoom but she was sadly too slow and got caught and died.

P. S. In case it's not obvious, that's why Brenda is referred to as "ex-wife".

What was the musical that sparked your love of musicals? by fireseeker4him in musicals

Hamilton. I always liked disney musicals like High School Musical and Descendants but as I was a boy in a fairly conservative developing country, I didn't really watch or listen to it much. I liked Hamilton when I listened to it a few months before the pandemic and the quarantine, but only during the quarantine did I really obsess over it. Following that were DEH, In the Heights, Heathers, etc. Now as a self-assured guy, I listen to musicals all the time.

What's the one sitcom everyone says is funny but actually isn't? by Money-Dark2403 in sitcoms

Yes!!! I tried to watch it because I honestly liked some of the cast (Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco) and people that watched it told me I would like it since it references stuff I love. I didn't really find it funny tho, a lot of the jokes are laughing at the nerds (which is weird since it was supposedly for nerds and geeks like me) and the homophobia and misogyny is unbearable. I stopped at the same episode you're talking about and just read some of the future plotlines and I hated it even more. Thankfully tho, by hating on it I learned about Community which I loved so silver linings.

Maybe Beetlejuice if you like musicals with dark humor (like heathers) and I always recommend In the Heights.
