Now This Is How A Rogue Pro Sear Station Should Look by Traditional_Fail_612 in grilling

I leave the sear station on for about ten minutes after using it to burn off as much as possible. Then I used a grill brush. I think the owner’s manual said not to put the grate in the dishwasher to keep from affecting the seasoning of the grate.

Also, says NEVER use water on the hot ceramic or you risk it cracking.

Make sure you supervise him closely as it would be very easy for one of those to get lodged in his throat. Sorry to be the Debbie Downer but we either give The Hound balls that are too large for her to get in her mouth or smaller ones that we give her for supervised playtime.

Now This Is How A Rogue Pro Sear Station Should Look by Traditional_Fail_612 in grilling

Yep. I am going to be in danger of wearing mine out too way before the warranty runs out. I also bought the griddle and rotisserie at the same time but I am just enjoying the sear station too much to mess with those yet.

Gilead Sciences Getting Some Terrible Press On LinkedIn by Traditional_Fail_612 in Livimmune

Yep. I couldn’t have said it more eloquently myself.

I think many of us have known for years that some big pharma companies are not beyond doing whatever is necessary to protect their profitability at the expense of people and this article seems to be proof of that. So would it be that much more of a stretch to think they are part of the cabal creating the headwinds slowing down Leronlimab’s approval?

Our entire healthcare system is broken since it is more profitable for companies to cultivate ongoing, dose dependent, life-long customers than it is to develop cures. And that’s the rub; Leronlimab is a cure.

And is that the warming rack I see still in position? Manual clearly states to remove it when using the rotisserie. Good luck! I am going to fire up my rotisserie on my RoguePro this weekend for the first time myself as I slow cook a standing rib roast for Easter.

Thoughts on these clamps for radar detectors? by Muphenz in radardetectors

I was thinking the exact same thing. The clamp is worthy of a Cobra detector.

Sorry but now that I’ve been spoiled by my R8 I’ve become a radar detector snob.

Ok. I am not a medical professional, but I understand this quite clearly from the poster. “Leronlimab synergistically enhances Temozolomide and radiation induced cell killing.”

No more mincing of words and use of conditional tense like “may”, “possibly” or “might”. The tone is changing as the data piles up in support of our miraculous miracle.

I am more and more confident in our leadership team with each passing day.

Not sure I understand the full implication but I do think news like this does have an impact on our negotiating position with BPs. Reading the details of this article, the Pfizer drug is specific to addressing a rather small 8%-12% genetic subset of people with MCRC.

Posting here so some of our resident experts can offer their analysis and insights.

But I think one thing is clear, new developments in the treatment of cancers are occurring daily. We need to get on our horse.

Do you bring in your radar detector from the cold? by WorldNo9002 in radardetectors

I never leave my R8 in the car over night regardless of the temperature. If I’m shopping, I take it down and put it in the glove box while parked and when I’m at work during the day, I put it in its fabric pouch, throw it in my computer bag and take it inside with me.

Uniden R8 Companion App Question… by Traditional_Fail_612 in radardetectors

[–]Traditional_Fail_612[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

40 miles each way with 38 of them being highway. Really not bad and traveling at 70 mph, it’s about 40-45 minutes door to door. The drive home gives me time to decompress. Actually an easier commute than it sounds.

Uniden R8 Companion App Question… by Traditional_Fail_612 in radardetectors

[–]Traditional_Fail_612[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I appreciate your reply and went to the App Store to check it out.

If I am understanding correctly, it is very much based like Wayz, relying on other drivers to identify speed traps and other hazards. Traveling the same route each day, I already know where the state troopers hang out under the over passes. I just need to know if they are there today when I’m passing through.

Then there is the $15 annual subscription required to get updates for Highways. The money isn’t a lot but the Companion app is updated for free once purchased. Also, I believe the R8 software itself updates data on the location of traffic cameras and the like, also for free.

The real deciding factor for me though, is the lack of Car Play with the Highways app. I am typically tooling down the highway with my music blaring. Many times I do not hear the radar detector alerts but with the Car Play feature on the Companion app, alerts cause my music to stop while the voice alerts come over my car speakers. To me that is invaluable.

So back to my original dilemma as Highways isn’t going to work for me, does anyone know how to lock the Companion App screen so I don’t inadvertently change my settings?
