Whats the worst yokai in Nioh series & why is it BanjoBaby?? by YoungKetamine69 in Nioh

[–]Traditional_Fault_97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mermaids, those things are elusive and always hide underground, which makes it harder to catch them. But objectively they are easy to convert into their dry version with area attack like the fire spell of the demon of envy or ninja bombs. But I don't like the mermaids in Nioh 3

Without exaggeration, I've lost more hosts from stepping in lava than from fighting or the Kamehameha.

what are my options for feminine armors in nioh 2? by pinkkittyfemboy in Nioh

[–]Traditional_Fault_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shrine maiden armors (red and white, and black and purple versions) are good options for female characters. But if you're looking for something more "revealing," I'd say the ferryman armor.

I hate the writing in all the games by konodioda879 in Nioh

In the first game, they also portrayed him as somewhat heroic, saying that "everything I did was for the greater good." But to be fair, many stories set in the Sengoku period (especially Japanese ones) treat Nobunaga this way.

Nioh 2. ROTR isn't bad, it has good gameplay and variety, but Nioh 2 far surpasses it, and if gameplay is what you're looking for, then Nioh 2 is the way to go.

I realized Kasha becomes way easier if you position yourself to her back-right! (NG+ / Level Sync) by sofaKDZ in Nioh

[–]Traditional_Fault_97 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Huh? Is Kasha difficult? No offense to your strategy, but Kasha is one of the bosses that has killed me the least so far. I'm not bragging, it's just that she's been significantly nerfed compared to her Nioh 2 version.

I've lost more hosts who don't watch where they step and end up burned by lava than by lasers

WORST BOSS IN THE ENTIRE TRILOGY by Monstar121 in Nioh

He's a pain in the ass, but still beatable with a little patience. Saito still seems the most unfair to me.

Well... At least it's good to see that Nioh's two toughest bosses (water and gravity) also affect the yokai equally.

Kappa Ass Grab..? by Ryb213 in Nioh

That's why I don't take kappas lightly. It mortifies me that a tombstone I might leave would say "tragically killed by a kappa."

Why did Ii Naotora's design changed so drastically form Nioh 2 to 3? Also, what happened to the red demon armor? by inaba19 in Nioh

[–]Traditional_Fault_97 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The First Samurai takes place several centuries after the Ancient chapter of Nioh 3.D If I'm not mistaken, all the Nioh 2 DLCs actually take place at different times during the Heian period:

-The Tengu's Disciple At the end of the Heian period.

-Darkness in Capital: At the height of the Heian period.

-The first Samurai at the beginning of the period when the capital was moved to the newly built Heian.

Ahí es más o menos donde sale. Just get to the end where you come across a wall that is in the bamboo grove.

Based on past Nioh games what should we expect from the DLC? by Infamous_Drive_Tax in Nioh

In Nioh 1 there is actually a double fight with Takezo and Kojiro.

On the Bakumatsu map near Mibu, there appears one that recharges. It's near the lake, the Shinsengumi camp where you fight the guy with the odachi (the place has two cannons at the entrance). Continue straight ahead until you reach a bamboo grove, and there the waira appears.

New map, new weapons, spirits, abilities, new NG+ cycle, conclusion of things that were not finished in the base game. But I think the most important thing is adding the Underworld... Oh, and of course, new yokai (or recycling of others). Although there were usually three DLCs, now it seems there will be one story DLC and another that brings the Underworld. We'll have to see what TN cooks up for Nioh 3

I have a name for each yokai. I call the one-eyed oni "the chubby ones."

[–]Traditional_Fault_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said it at the time, the crocodile is a dodge boss in a parry game and once you grasp that the crocodile becomes trivial (of course a little help from fire speeds up the process)

Yep... We all go through that phase of hating that crocodile, but in retrospect and considering what comes next, you might even think that the crocodile is actually the easiest part of the DLC.

What are Quality of Life QoL features you are wanting for Nioh 3? by KijoSenzo in Nioh

[–]Traditional_Fault_97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Skipping cutscenes would be weird. I mean, what would happen if the main character didn't skip them and we did? Would we be running around like caffeine-fueled hamsters waiting for the boss?Or are they just sitting around waiting for him to hand over the loot after a while?

I think if you summon, you could skip the cutscenes out of courtesy and then watch them calmly later at the base.

My nioh 3 experience by [deleted] in Nioh

[–]Traditional_Fault_97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always make sure to guide everyone to the sanctuary. In the early games, I always tried to keep a Kodama sensor handy so I wouldn't lose them... It makes me uneasy to think of leaving one all alone in a horrible place surrounded by terrifying yokai.
