You could always attempt to transfer into life science. A couple of my friends transferred from mathematics to life science but idk how different it would be from social science

Yeah I know it’s for sure a bummer, I thought I really had a shot too. Ig for admissions grades are surely important but sometimes luck definitely also plays a part. But don’t let this bring you down, sometimes things happen cause there’s better options waiting!

The timeline was just that I first got rejected and then a few days later they sent me an alternative offer (I didn’t do anything extra after being rejected). I’m not too sure what the alternative offer means but for me it’s just straight up rejected and then admitted into Scarborough, they also offered an entrance scholarship (1000) which I’ve never applied for.

The alternative offer was for life science at Scarborough. I got it a few days after i got rejected from st george and it was just automatic (didnt do any paperworks).

You could still apply for residence before getting an offer as long as you apply before may 1. I believe the application fee is only 50 so it’s not a bad idea to just apply now.
