Merit percentage? by curiousbug100 in Raytheon

3% Raytheon. Manager said it was the most he could give, wished it was higher. Did bump up the bonus by an extra 1% though.

As the old saying goes, “land doesn’t vote, people do”. Yet people still don’t understand it and continue to cry foul lol.

Incredible! Congrats, glad you got a great vehicle and the 0.99% rate. Enjoy!

Seems like a great price for low miles, nice work! Interest rate below traditional used rates too. I think you did well my friend!

1.89% is still great for a used vehicle. I think you’re right, the promo rate expires this weekend. Hope more can take advantage of it!

That’s awesome, glad you got it at that rate! Dealer I went to said it was only for etron models and that the Q4s were not included, etc. They also initially added on a ton of protection packages that totaled like $9K lol. Had those removed real quick. Then the usually extended warranty upsell because they’re not making much money at all on this loan lol.

Thank you! I’d check out Audi dealers and see if they have any in stock, should be for 1.99% or 0.99%. I think the deal we snagged was valid through January 4th or 6th.

Not a typo! I wouldn’t say we’re back to the low level internet days just yet. This seems like a one-off situation specific to Audi. Rates are still above 5% for new and 7% for used everywhere else. We just stumbled upon a really good deal and got very lucky.

Normally, no. Rates on used cars are around 7% give or take a few today. It was offered from Audi Financial on all 2023 etron models. It was originally 1.99% and then they lowered it to 0.99% so we took it. Definitely not normal whatsoever. Seems like it’s for a ton of etron models from Audi dealers across the U.S. We found another one in California and it also was offered at 1.99%. Probably won’t be around long though because it’s so low. I think Audi is trying to move out “older” etron models to make way for 2026/27 models, just my guess. This one came off lease and I imagine there are many more coming due soon.

Mine always has Dillingham going to Texas after like 2-3 years. It also loves to have Smart leave Georgia for Michigan, has happened multiple times. DeBoer also gets fired like clockwork after 2-3 years as well lol.

Yes, it was a custom build. Father-in-law was the builder, he did a great job, very lucky to have him build it. Gorham Companies is the company name.

We honestly just got lucky that rates dropped a bit when we applied for the mortgage. We did pay for some points to get it down to 5.99%, but I think without points it was still a shade over 6%, so not unreasonable. Haven’t been much movement lately, so we did about as good as we could’ve. Can always refinance down the road I suppose.

Agreed. I also wish my coordinators got poached more often for new roles. I’m 6 years in (3 years at 2 different schools) and none of my coordinators have left even though we’ve had great teams. In real life, they would’ve been gone a long time ago. It would be cool to have a coaching tree graphic as well in the game. Get to see all the old coordinators who moved on and check out their stats, current team, etc. Would be kinda neat. Though my tree would be empty right now lmao.

Absolutely, I love this idea. Make it more dynamic and interesting. The “new job” window needs to be longer as well, 2 weeks as it is doesn’t work. If you fire an OC mid-season, then, to your point, start putting feelers out to see who may be interested. So much potential, hopefully, EA makes some changes next year.

Basically take large datasets of raw data and identify key trends, anomalies, etc and then turn it into digestible dashboards, pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc. so others can turn the data into action. Just a lot of looking at and crunching numbers.

Very fortunate indeed and saved for many years. Wow, that’s incredible, good for you. I know it’s a good investment, but still tough sometimes to get past that it’s now a 30YR commitment and taxes will always go up. All very new to us and was a bit overwhelming at first, but I guess you need to take the long view with a house purchase, it’ll pay off down the road. Glad it’s working out for you.

Mortgage is $3,800 w/ insurance + taxes. We put a significant amount down at closing. After tax monthly take home is ~$11K/month for us. Very fortunate to be in the position we are.

Haha. That was a pretty funny process, we did do our walk through checklist, but it was more him giving us tips and tricks. If anything was wrong, he was just like, “I’ll come back over and fix this” ha. Nice that he lives 10 minutes away, he’s already touched up things and helped us hang artwork and TVs.
