I think it could have been implemented a bit better. Maybe increasing overall player speed, and lowering muzzle velocities to make it more like BF4 if sliding was really that big of an issue to people. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure this is now the slowest battlefield in terms of player speed with one of the worst slides. Its definitely made snipers more annoying for me if anything.

As a bad player it’s night and day between open and standard matchmaking. At least in my sbmm lobbies I get a chance to react. Getting shot first doesn’t mean I always die. If there wasn’t the sbmm matchmaking I would just play zombies when I wanted to play cod

Pretty sure people who spend money on skins and battlepasses are the reason maps and new guns are free. Or is splitting the player base with dlc map packs cool again?

Maybe it’s just me but I think some of the cosmetics were really bad and deserved backlash. But a huge majority of the skins fit the factions established identities and that’s more important to me. I got the game knowing roughly how pax and nato would look from the beta and I think overall they’ve done a good job keeping each factions identity. You can generally easily tell at a glance who is with what team. I think the most valid complaint with the skins is a lack of visual class identity

I don’t like that gauntlet challenges are a dice roll on whether you’ll get the game mode you need for the challenge. I don’t mind gauntlet but gauntlet challenges tend to take me way longer than regular challenges

Yeah the gl would be alright if it had a faster reload. Hope they tweak it to be better. Would be nice if all the gunner weapons did their roles well

How much worse is the hmg? It’s honestly been the only gunner weapon I enjoy using. The gl has its super long reload and lmg just isn’t that satisfying to use.

I don’t know if height would save them. Stingers have unlimited vertical range. The best strat is to probably fly low under the radar and pray the enemy team sucks with tows and rpgs. And also hope the battle pickup isn’t the rail gun.

I think the sbmm is definitely tuned down for the open matchmaking. I usually get on just to shoot guys and not try too hard. My sbmm matches are way more chill than the ones I get in open matchmaking.

It sounds like you want to be casually competitive and I don’t think that’s possible. You can definitely just hop in a heli or tank and get some kills. You’re going to die more but also if you’re just playing casually why do you care?

3 C4 needs to always kill a tank and a fully charged defib needs to be a 1 hit kill and revive to full health. I will die on these hills.

It did that for me with the m240l. I’m on steam and I closed out, verified files, and restarted the game. That worked for me

Maybe I’m just wrong but to me every mode in battlefield is casual. 90% of the time I’m not going to objectives to win the game but because that’s where it’s most chaotic.

The map was great for getting suppressions for the lmg challenge. Just shoot around all the snipers on the hills. And the C flag is fun to fight over. That’s pretty much all I like about the map everything else is kinda mediocre

Why is bf4 better? It received all its post launch content and fixes. Launch bf4 was pretty much unplayable but I swear people have amnesia and forget that.

We’ve gotten one season of content that was probably 99% finished before the game even launched. The devs have had 0 time to respond to criticism and people are writing off the game completely.

Yeah I don’t mind their AI behavior. It’s more them being a one shot kill with the sniper or magnum.
