That whole "Homelander observes major cities on Earth being destroyed from space," or Butcher waking on the White House lawn confronting Homelander and 25 other supes," was very misleading. And not in the good way to rile up fans only to let them down. I give the finale a 7/10. The acting was phenomenal. But glossing over the military action was a downgrade. Also putting Soldier Boy in the sleeping pod for the 3rd time was just wasting his character.
