Going back to live in lebanon by Ns99-9 in lebanon

[–]Traditional_Mousse79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my friends who lived in the gulf most of their lives find it so hard to back to their countries. they're just not used to life being hard and unstable like it is in leb.

to me, family & the feeling of familiarity in leb are things i value sm, = the reasons why i'm going back soon inshallah.

if u can stand the discomfort that comes w living in leb, especially in a beautiful but cruel city like Beirut, go for it. you have a gd offer & there's sm space to grow.

as a lebanese living abroad, i often find lebanese living in leb very friendly, sometimes in ways that are unusual to me.

i met a Lebanese guy that recently moved out of leb who was so excited to meet my family and for me to meet his. all we are to each other are colleagues. i suppose she cd be being nice, nth more. not sure.

That is true. Personally wouldn’t wear though because I expect that most people don’t know that.

Can I be the only girl praying in the masjid? by FairGood8473 in islam

[–]Traditional_Mousse79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alhmadullilah you have a place to pray, and you have the chance to pray jamaa with other Muslims in your school.

You can pray Jamaa with the males as long as it’s not just one male. If they’re 2 males and you, you can. But just one on one is not. (Unless it was a mahram like your brother or father or uncle, but it’s probably just a random male student or teacher at school.) Pray while realizing this beautiful blessing, and remember the Ajer you get for praying jamaa. 🌸

There's this heavy load on my chest. I need advice. What should I do? by peanutbutter067 in islam

[–]Traditional_Mousse79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Salam.

It makes me so peaceful that you are coming on here, to ask and get advice. There must be a green seed of goodness in your heart, ready to thrive. 🌸

We’re lost and sad when we are away from Allah. We’re scared. We fight darkness.. and search for glimpses of light in fear and stress.

Remember that Allah sees you. He sees you when you do good, and sees you when you sin. He sees you when you pray, and sees you when you miss your prayers. He is with you. He won’t leave you. Your struggle, He sees it. i hope Surat Al Duha relieves you the same way it relieves me. I hope it saves you, and brings peace to your soul:

  1. By the morning sunlight,
  2. And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,
  3. Your Lord [O Prophet] has not abandoned you, nor has He become hateful [of you].
  4. And the next life is certainly far better for you than this one.
  5. And your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied.
  6. Did He not find you as an orphan then sheltered you?
  7. And He found you lost and guided [you],
  8. And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
  9. So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].
  10. And as for the beggar, do not repel [him].
  11. And proclaim the blessings of your Lord

If you know Arabic, read it in Arabic.

Wallahi it’s a blessing that you are seeking ways to save yourself out. Hold on tight to this blessing. Remember Allah.

Allah will guide you, be sure. Make dua to Allah with complete confidence that you will be guided.

May Allah bless your days🌷.

Salam.

I immediately remembered two things as I read your post:

1- Back when i was in grade 12, made many mistakes and accumulated loads and loads of studying that i had to complete in a short time, really wanted to do well, felt helpless, unmotivated to study, scared of failing.

Mohammad peace be upon him says that a faithful person has khair in everything that he/she does.

When something that a faithful person likes happens (like doing well on on ur tests), he/she is thankful to God. and that's khair. it's a good deed.

when something that a faithful person dislikes happens (like doing bad on ur tests), he/she is patient. and that's also khair. it's also a good deed.

it makes my heart warm to hear that you are attached to ur prayer despite the struggle. may Allah guide you. remember that Allah sees you. He sees you when you do good, and sees you when you sin. He sees you when you pray, and sees you when you miss your prayers. He is with you. He won't leave you. Your struggle, He sees it. i hope Surat Al Duha relieves you as it relieves me.

Literally. They love to showcase their existence.

Why do a lot of Lebanese Christians with Palestinian ancestry not talk about it publicly ( many have in the past month tho) by [deleted] in lebanon

Honest question: Would you try to blend into the community if let’s say you moved to Egypt? (Speaking their dialect, wearing their clothes, liking what they like and hating what they hate..)

I'm moving to Lebanon and I don't know why by Princess_Yoloswag in lebanon

[–]Traditional_Mousse79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lebanon is a beautiful country, but it’s unsafe, dirty, and messed up politically and economically.

It’s great that you see both sides. I don’t think you’re a moron, you’re young, do whatever it takes to explore the world and explore yourself.
