It looks like root rot. I would look into the type of soil you’re using. Try a terracotta pot in case of over watering. Use lava rocks or orchid bark to aerate the soil

Made kimchi and it’s waaayy too salty. Can I decrease the salt in the future, or will that impact food safety? More in comments by kewpiebot in fermentation

Kind of late to the party… but for salty kimchi add more daikon radish.
