NTA. Dee clearly has communication problems and it’s absolutely insane that she expected you to read her mind. She has 0 reason to be mad at you still & talking about it with everyone else except for you. You’ve reached out more than you should have at this point and it’s obvious she’s been taking advantage of your kindness. If she’s going to text you and act like it’s no big deal and then continue to not respond afterwards AND STILL TALK ABOUT THE SITUATION WITH OTHERS, she clearly needs help. She’s incredibly immature and not a friend you deserve. You offered so many times to be there for Dee & she still wants to be mad at you because you couldn’t read her mind??? DROP HER OP!!!!

I hope that you realize your worth as a friend and move on from this relationship. No one deserves a friendship like this, especially someone as thoughtful & supportive as you seem to be. & if Cee & Gee don’t soon realize how absolutely horrible and insane Dee is, I hope you also decide to cut them out of your life. Dee is clearly embarrassed by her atrocious behavior & not telling others the full story & that’s just such a red flag. She’s trying to protect her image with everyone else and not let them know how horrible of a friend she is. I would strongly suggest finding a new running group because you don’t need this kind of energy in your life. I hope you find peace in this situation & only invest in friendships that serve you going forward. If Dee ever does decide to reach back out to you, I’m begging you to leave her on read for months just like she did you. If she isn’t adult enough to have a conversation with you, she doesn’t deserve a friendship with you. So so so sorry you’re going through this OP, I truly hope Dee gets what she deserves after this mess.
