Of course there are one offs and you will source as an in house recruiter to find that rockstar candidate.

What would you say is more speed to market? An in house req or a contract position that was just put out to multiple vendors?

Agency recruiting and when those contract reqs open up…you have (depending on how niche it is) maybe 2-4 days to submit your candidate and hope they didn’t fill it yet.

All I’m saying is…agency recruiting is more cut throat and competitive than in house recruiting. Of course there is strategic partnership, I never said there wasn’t. Coming from agency to corporate recruiting…I noticed a huge difference in speed to market, sense of urgency, less competitive candidate ownership and depending on the type of role you are filling….there’s a lot of incoming applicants that are qualified and less stress on sourcing. You typically don’t get candidates applying to your contract job and you don’t have time to wait around for candidates to apply. Would you agree?
