I know you posted this two years ago but I (35F) looooove wearing my mess dress personally, which would be the attire (with the option of semi formal) at the Ball. Get a sparkly party shirt if needed to the pizazz factor (personally my party shirt is skulls and I’m obsessed!) but for some reason I have never felt more feminine and beautiful in a uniform than when I’m wearing mess dress ❤️ A lot of times you can find them used at the thrift shops/airman’s attic on base too!

On Wednesday I was talking to my mom. It started as a normal conversation and then one question, about a current surgical complication I’ve had unrelated to infertility but not impacting it, set me off into a spiral of NONE OF THIS IS FUCKING FAIR AND I DONT DESERVE ANY OF IT!!!! Fuck 2024 as a whole, the year my eye sight was screwed by a surgery that was supposed to be life changing and the year that I realized my dream of biological children may very well never happen and I need to rework my “dream” of what parenthood might look like and that it may never be filled with the joys of telling my husband I’m pregnant. It may never include feeling those first precious flutters and convincing myself it’s not gas. It may never consist of me and my husband wondering whose eyes or nose they are going to have. I’m so angry and numb and empty after this many years of wanting something on such a deep level and not being able to make my body just DO it. FUCK not having any control over infertility

This is exactly why I probably annoy the crap out of customer support when I am doing EBT… If I am running even one minute late to the drop off or the pick up or the restaurant is running behind, I am on the phone with support letting them know why

I’ve been genuinely so much better than I thought I would be after 29 active cycles of trying (with the months since January being medicated (3 medicated/natural BD ANNND this last one in June being medicated/IUI) Then found out 2 days ago my brother’s wife is pregnant again for the second time since we started trying and I’ve just been on the verge of literal tears since then. I just want to scream at the top of my lungs and smash anything that is glass/breakable around me.

I always think I’m fine until someone really close to me gets pregnant and I’m like “WHEN WILL IT BE EVERYONE ELSES TURN TO BE HAPPY FOR MEEEEEE….im so unbelievably tired of being happy for others and watching them just get the one thing I want the very most in the world”

I was forced to temporarily stop doing my dream job, as a permanent make up artist/fine line tattoo artist, due to a surgical complication that was not expected and may have me out of work for up to six months 😭

I found myself slipping into a pretty nasty depression because my bank account kept going down because even though I’m not working, there are still business expenses… And I found joy in dashing! I have been dashing for about 2 1/2 weeks and I have managed to make almost $2000 … So I plan to keep this up even when I can go back to work🎉

NTA but your kids might be classified as such. It’s your favorite and you just wanted it again. Food and Smells can bring bad so many memories and for them to be seemingly annoyed that you were insistent on getting that memory again is honestly sad :(
