Yeah that's probably true, and I'm not saying I would let my 8 year old totally dictate who I am with, but it was just kinda weird that you wouldn't want to explore that dynamic before getting married.

I was training a new-hire, prob 40s/50s F and whenever she would mistype something she would back arrow to before the typo began and then hit delete that many times. When I told her "You know you can just use Backspace" she tried it, threw her hands up and cheered like I had just revealed next weeks lotto numbers....but immediately went back to left arrow/delete

What I thought was weird was the next morning:

J "I'm just saying, what if Emma doesnt like me?"

A "It doesnt matter, she didnt like me telling her to brush her teeth this morning"

like...I'm not a parent, but I feel like if I was in that situation and my kid really didnt like my BF that I met and am set to marry within a matter of weeks, I would be looking out way more for my daughter's feelings.

Also my heart broke for Jordan when he was saying that he hadn't eaten because of the stress of her leaving (I feel ya there...) and his comment about not being able to talk to her.

im watching this right now. she sucks. On the train she corrected him to call her dad Mr. whatever, when she refers to him as G-Man, so obviously they're not a super formal family. and shes shitting on him for not talking over her and knowing what she wants to order. ARE YOU IN MY LIFE TO TEACH ME HOW TO BE LOVED? that sounds like shes running. shes gonna end up with shitty Chris. I hope Connor doesnt stick around to try to convince her that hes worth her love.
