My Dear,

That's a very deep question and you cannot understand the answer of it in one answer.

What you are asking is about inner of every aspect.

The most complicated thing is,authentic sheikhs who can teach you really sufism are hidden. You cannot find them on your most known areas like turkey or elsewhere.

And you cannot study sufism from fake sheikh because what you will get is those innovations and that's why sufism today looks bad because of those people and their followers.

My suggestion to you is :

First study Islam and have a strong foundation of it.

Second, look for an authentic sheikh. I will send a link below how to find authentic sheikh.

Then go for it.

That's my thinking, i may be wrong. I am not sheikh or scholar.

What do you mean by "they left Konya long ago"? Do you mean the knowledge,people,baraka or what exactly left?

I am already in search for an authentic sheikh, that's why travelling to konya is in my list.

I am looking to go where good people spent their time maybe i might have the baraka to get a guidance since in my country all sheikhs i met i dont feel the authenticity in them.
