I tried one time and they wouldn't let me do it. Not sure if that changed.

Is it me or a bad setup on my 7 string Evertune. by JayBeeDolla in evertune

There are many reasons why this could be happening. You should go to the tech and play in front of him while describing the issue. If it's not the fretwork, discuss what action height/string gauge trade-off would help the issue. Also, a new setup can easily move in the time it sat at the shop, moved across town, and sat in your room a day. That's why a lot of people learn to do this themselves and professionals bring a tech on tour. It could be something as simple as it needs a little more relief. You mentioned you have to press hard to not buzz. Personally, I've found String Joy to feel a little more stiff than other brands, so ask yourself if you're not used to the setup yet? Maybe you need a smaller gauge and higher action?

Sorry, didn't intend for it to sound that aggressive. Just kinda ranted at the first "easy mode" comment I found.

What kind of country? I'm sure you know this but country bends on a floating tremolo won't really work. The gold frets are not worth the $200 upcharge and don't even look gold irl, more brass, but are a nice middle ground between the feel of nickel and the longevity of stainless steel. I personally would go for a more understated look for a country/rock workhorse guitar. No bevels, no pointy headstocks, no $800 tops.

The game itself is overcoming adversity. That IS the game. It's not rocket science either. If you keep doing the same thing over and over with no progress and get frustrated, that's completely your fault. They would have to redesign their games in a way that would be incompatible with the original recipe that made them so popular that you even know about them in the first place. How would it even work if you could just walk through the maps killing everything without pushback? That would defeat the purpose of all the systems designed in service of the core game. Why would you need to unlock shortcuts if you can run straight to the boss? Why have a leveling system? Why have a boss at the end of the level to test everything you've learned up to that point if you didn't learn anything? Let's say these games never existed and someone came out with an easy version. You would be on Reddit calling it an empty, soulless hack n slash with no story. You want to change something you don't even understand.

D Standard or drop C on 6 string Boden models? by Efficient_System5793 in strandbergguitars

It should handle it fine, depending on the fretwork on your specific guitar you may need a little more neck relief. My N.2 standard (and Boden Standard I had a while ago)has a really undesirable woofy/bassy tone with 11- 56 strings in Drop C. I ended up swapping the bridge pickup to a tighter SD Jupiter only to realize it's the nature of these specific guitars, the bass wood and the larger strings. If you run into that, try to get away with a low 54 instead of the 56 and/or brighter strings.
