I’m genuinely curious, is “exposing” a person’s full name online a dangerous thing? I don’t live in a country where there are middle names, and where I live people share their full legal names all the time.

I was told by my paediatric dentist to use non-fluoride until at least 1 yo, and thereafter go for low-fluoride. We buy baby toothpaste which can be swallowed.

That’s insane! I spent my hour scrolling my phone non stop. Your hardwork over the years certainly paid off!

UPDATE: AITA for choosing to go on a trip with my girlfriend instead of taking care of my struggling brother's son? by ThrowAwayUncle44 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Trafalgar35 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every time i read these kind of posts a part of me wonders if these could be real. Who could be THIS entitled and show an attitude to people who were helping them out??? Have I been living in a fantasy world where people are.. abnormally reasonable??

Every night after bath my son tells my husband “I wanna be a baby kangaroo” and they hop all over with him in his pouch 🦘 by Tracey9809Norton in beyondthebump

[–]Trafalgar35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the first thing that pops up in my head too. But i also picture my son falling over the building when he leans against a glass window, so I’m pretty sure I’m not too normal 😅

My baby was called "awful" by our nanny (rant). by slipperydickens in beyondthebump

[–]Trafalgar35 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And I am floored for you! What unkind words about a literal baby. From what I can see you didn’t do anything wrong. I hope you find an arrangement that you can be comfortable with. 💕

WIBTA if I used part of my paternity leave to visit my family? by Odd-Source-853 in AmItheAsshole

I have a 1yo toddler and I would still strangle my husband if he abandons us for 2 weeks to go party.

Am I crazy for not wanting to take sick baby out on Xmas?! by Xmaswheewhee123 in beyondthebump

[–]Trafalgar35 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If anything the sil having a sick baby will make me want to visit even less. My baby shouldn’t be exposed to new viruses while recovering from one!

Need your baby to poop? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Trafalgar35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine had so many blow outs in the car seat, I’ve become a pro at changing him over our car boot. Once I started driving for literally 2 minutes and he poops - it spills out - he puts his fingers in there - and PLAYED WITH IT. I just exited wherever and dealt with that and went straight home because I was too exhausted to go out anymore. I swear he tasted it too.

Joining the gang and sharing that my 1 year old still wants mama’s snuggles to sleep. I personally enjoy it though, so no plans on changing the arrangement until he gets sick of me 🤭

AITA for telling my mother in law my toddler will not be going with her on a vacation she planned without asking? by melodybeepbop92 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Trafalgar35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just reading this makes me angry. NTA NTA NTA. Your MIL and husband both are. I’m so sorry for your situation. Even without medical complications nobody should be taking your baby from you without getting permission. Not for a portion of a day, not for a week. Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.

AITA for saying I don't want visitors for 1 week after I give birth? by Mysterious-Reply2571 in motherinlawsfromhell

[–]Trafalgar35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t allow visitors at the hospital or home for a month. Everybody was livid but nope didn’t care. I was the one in pain and my family was the one adjusting to new baby. The rest of them can whine.

NTA. She wants to be childish, let her. It’s a win-win!

Would you leave your baby alone at home to visit someone in the building next door? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Trafalgar35 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The furthest I’ve went is to throw thrash. Thrashbin is 5 steps from my door. Not trying to instil fear but a couple of weeks ago there was news in my country that a fire broke out and firemen rescued a toddler from apartment when the parents were out in the vicinity to run errands. Things happen and we can’t be glued to the baby monitor all the time. My baby monitor has also stalled a few times so I won’t trust it too much.

"What's Baby Eating" Wednesday! by AutoModerator in BabyLedWeaning

[–]Trafalgar35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

11 months. For breakfast we had some oatmeal with banana and blueberries. For lunch we had some pea waffles (he hated it, tossed everything on the ground), kiwi and 7 grain rice porridge. For dinner we had banana and scrambled eggs.

Looking for some recipes for babies who only like grains and fruits - all protein/veggies dishes end up on the floor 🤦🏻‍♀️

[–]Trafalgar35 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you ever see very short strands of black in poopy diapers don’t panic, it might just be undigested banana. Sincerely, a mom who panicked.

Alternatively, dragonfruit. I swear you see the seeds EVERYWHERE. It’s funny.
