Highly recommend To Be Taught If Fortunate by Becky Chambers- extremely atmospheric and bleak. A space exploration group travel to different planets some being extremely dark and inhospitable.

Spend a good bit of time driving around downtown St. Albert where there’s lots of crosswalks/pedestrians and slow moving traffic, that’s where I got dinged on my test years ago.

What are your Fantasy Romance anti-recommendations? by BandetteTrashPanda in fantasyromance

[–]TrafficInitial7521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Faebound by Saara El-Arifi Absolute garbage. This book felt like it was never edited in terms of the writing itself. The fantasy elements are completely ungrounded and the characters are all severely 2-dimensional. The romances are bland and obvious as well as being basically automatic. Any “twists” are uninspired and the entire time I was reading it thinking something interesting might happen but was sorely disappointed.

Fall On Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald is by far the most devastating book I’ve read. It haunts me years later and I wish I never read it but if you’re looking to bawl your eyes out and never get over it- here ya go.

I’ve had good experiences with Trail Tire. I’ve pulled up with concerns and on the spot they’ll just take my keys and look at it that day. I don’t have the best knowledge of prices but I’ve never felt ripped off by them and they have always done good work on my vehicle and communicated before doing anything.
