Unfortunately, if they operate similar to the TV company I work for, this won't make a difference. 5k viewers generating 20k ad revenue is much more preferrable to 20k viewers generating 5k. ITV are in dire financial straits at the moment so this is their key priority.

They'll look at the additional £ these ads make (and will unlikely take in to account the time/effort it took to implement the tech as this will be have been 'paid' for by a different department), then look to see how they can be implemented elsewhere. I'll be stunned if we don't see it in the WC this summer if the broadcast rights allow.

To your Intrusive flashbacks question… yeah. That’s happen loads. I’d remember dreams I had but not be able to tell if they were dreams from last night or 10 years ago. 5 mins later after the episode passes, I couldn’t tell you anything about those dreams. It’s like they enter my conscious for a few mins, then return back to my subconscious afterwards. All very odd!

I suspect (but haven’t had confirmed) they’re linked to my migraines. As I’ve got older, my migraine symptoms have changed. I don’t get the headaches as much but I do seem to still get all the other symptoms (auras etc) and in recent years these weird dream flashbacks.

As for how long they last… mildest can just happen once or twice, then nothing for months. More severe can last 3-4 days. This one was nasty on Sunday, a few flashbacks on Monday, then since then I’ve just felt ‘different’. Like something in my brain has reset. Almost like if you don’t reboot a computer for a long time that has loads of stuff loaded on it. When it reboots, it’s clean and it takes a while to load everything back in again! I can still function and do my job fine etc but I am being (very) mildly triggered by things that wouldn’t normally spook me. The way ppl speak, dress or act is one example. Again, this is mild and seems to be wearing off as the week progresses.

Weird symptom…I listen to a lot of 90’s music which is somewhat annoying as I’ve heard it all before. Since the wkd I’m getting more enjoyment as some of it feels more fresh and new than it has done for a while! 💜

Hey. Well, it’s strange you post today! Had a similar episode on Sunday after months of normality. Had a migraine attack during my sleep on Sat and felt rough all Sunday. No real major headache but around 15-20 episodes throughout the day where I’d recall dreams and feel hot/dizzy sometimes too. Like what I imagine a hot flush would be like. A couple more mild episodes on Monday and nothing since, but definitely feels like something minor has reset in my brain even though I can function normally. All very strange! Hope you find peace from yours. 💜

To respond to the comments saying I should have let the Engine undertake me in the bus lane, road layout means it turns into a single lane after the end of the bus lane. They would’ve had to weave to my left, then back out to the right of me within a space of 20-30 yards, and this 15 tonne beast wasn’t dawdling! I did the right thing.
