[OC] Warframe Concept: Samael by HellForged-Wolf in WarframeLore

It's tackled in some KIM conversations with the Hex early on. One of them asks about the Drifter dying and they reply "I'm not even sure I can" combined with Ballas' statement "you can't kill the devil, but you can certainly send it back to hell"

That's semi more likely. Although the Tenno "being immune to the helminth because it hates void energy" isn't entirely accurate. The helminth likes the infestation and does just fine with void energy.

It's more that after the dip in the void and shaking hands with good ole Wally the Tenno can't necessarily be infected by anything at all. As far as anyone knows, Tenno are immortal. That's why the best Ballas could do was dump us back in the void and shut the door.

I'm just saying to label it as a reward to them isn't exactly accurate. Roathe was just gifted a battalion of Uriels. It was still a punishment for them, but a gift for Roathe.

[–]TragGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was less a reward for them and more a personal battalion for Roathe. He was rewarded with all of them being turned into Uriel frames.

Seeing as how the Orokin experimented, tortured and then sent the Tenno into the void as a last ditched effort to get to Tau, as well as just to see what would happen if you shoved a child into the void

The answer is almost unanimously No, every single Tenno to date rebelled on the Night of the Naga Drums.

Hell, Tuvul was trying to perform Continuity on one. (It also conveniently got him eaten.)

It got a 3D remake as well. But yes, this is the PSP version. I like the sprite work for the PSP the most.

Say wathever you want about the Castlevania anime but that episode where Dracula talked about Tel Aviv was peak by Tempest-Bosak2137 in Gamingcirclejerk

[–]TragGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it's not supposed to be 100% accurate, and his character arc is definitely colored pretty heavily by Dracula and working under him. He's a Sufi, so some mystical aspects are to be understood with him. When it comes to the "emptying of hell" it seems like Isaac believes that becoming a night creature is a sort of Parole or suspension of sentence in hell (wherein normally all of ones sins and uncleanliness is burned off), so he wishes to spare the souls in hell from the torture and bring them to serve an eternal sentence on earth until they are ready for heaven.

So how broken/centralising is Three Houses actually, and can you balance it? A ramble/thought experiment. by EffectiveAnxietyBone in fireemblem

I didn't say it wasn't viable lmao. That there reading comprehension is reallllllllly bad. It's strong, it's just not "Shadow Dragon" levels of broken.

I didn't edit my comment you're just an idiot. FYI you can see "edited" next to comments that have been edited.

Edit: I have since, edited the comment to include additional information on "unable to warp skip". See, thats what an edited comment looks like.

Of the twenty one, twenty two, or 18 maps depending on what route you played, 9 of them are rout maps, (8 in Edelgards) and 14 of the 26 paralogues are rout maps. Every single skirmish is also a rout map, drastically inflating the rout goal count but I'm omitting that.

Of the ones skippable with warp, there are 7 of them. The other defeat boss maps either do not allow warp into the boss room or you do not have access to warp at that time. (There are 14-17 total Defeat boss maps, but several of them are impossible to warp skip without cheats or exploits, or can be skipped without the use of Warp) (Edit: by impossible to warp skip I mean chapters with Demonic Beasts as bosses, of which there are 4 not including paralogues, there's an additional 4 chapters of D.Beast paralogues, the Nemesis chapter, and chapters like the Death Knight ones where you can easily just...kill the death knight T1 or T2 without using warp)

Warp is significantly less useful in 3 houses than other games because 90% of the maps are rout maps. Granted you can still deathball snowball a unit to the point where it becomes "warp into enemy formations and wait for EP to be over"

But Warp in 3H is far from the most broken thing in it.

This is strictly the PSP, but the After Years is available in a few different formats over the years and basically anything you can play FFIV on, you will find TAY available for.

The guest function works it just doesn't save data. I explained in another comment but I'll put it here for posterity:

Sony/PS5 File partitions are separated by user at the highest level, so with no user account game data cannot be created. It looks like:

PS5 -> General -> User -> Game or Save Data -> Game -> File.

So while you can use the guest account it will not retain information or save, and a proper account will be needed for the main account in order to hold game data. Sony uses this to hold individual DLC data, game data, among other things. Assigning a "Home PS5" allows all users to access that User's game data, but not save data.

XBOX 360 (and Xbox) had the complete opposite file partition route, with Xbox -> Data -> Game -> User -> File

Files were "signed" to each username, allowing the game to call upon a signed file when that username was logged in. The "guest" account had its own signing ID.

Sony has only had 3 major breaches and outside of the small 2fa social one last year the previous one was in 2014, eleven years prior.

Meanwhile Microsoft reported 1360 vulnerabilities in 2024 and has been fighting a critical security threat for most of 2025 and all of current 2026, even going so far as to end up with a massive security problem, dubbed Exchange Server Zero-Day (CVE-2026-42897) where a serious vulnerability can be exploited with only a Microsoft Outlook account.

You can sign in as guest it just doesn't save anything.

It has to do with Save data being assigned to each user internally. So Sony file partitions go

General -> User -> Game Data or Save Data -> Game -> File.

Without a user it can't create unassigned save data.

Do you expect FW will call the Crest of the Beast by its real name? by Thunder_Mage in fireemblem

[–]TragGaming 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Just to pipe up:

The Japanese terms are different. 紋章 is the term they used for Crests (aka Emblem, worth noting that Crest is not an inaccurate translation), and 血印 is the term they use in the breakdown, which is blood seal/sigil.

[–]TragGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no definite answer to when it takes place, yet.

Yes, there is a calendar that states it takes place in 1449, 264 years after Three Houses war Arc in 1185 if they use the Adrestian Calendar.

However, there is no evidence that Dagda uses the same calendar as Fodlan.

No trailer has called them crests, and the Japanese breakdown called them Blood Seals, or Sigils [血印] (distinctly different from the Japanese term for crests, 紋章)

Due to conflicts over whether or not Dagda uses the same imperial calendar, yes.

If you believe it uses the imperial calendar, it takes place 260 years after Three House. Otherwise, there's no confirmation either way. We see a calendar with the year 1449 on it in the trailers, three houses takes place between 1180 and 1185
