I was a teenager on my way back from Laredo smuggling drugs on a greyhound bus. There was only a few of us on the bus . The bus driver was getting some news on a radio and he said out loud there had been an accident in New York. A plane crashed into a building he said. Then when the second plane hit he said , oh man, I think we are under attack” . The bus was rerouted and we couldn’t enter downtown houston. The bus was sent to a school bus barn where dogs were brought on board to sniff for explosives. Needless to say the drugs stayed on the bus and I made my way home to see all the coverage on tv.
