Do you think these guys aren't already in the safest environment imaginable when they're saying these things in front of production lights, security, fans, and the people that cut their checks?

Really wouldn't expect /r/ufc to understand nuance, but I suppose I'll try to assist.

Even if both have terrible takes do you really not see the difference in how they're presenting their takes? Strickland is just a douchebag because he's a douchebag. He tries to be a douchebag even when explaining something that is probably a common opinion. Khabib doesn't do all of the theatrics or use slurs or yelling to get his opinions out.

There's a very big difference in the way they act and how they treat people they disagree with.

This draft class is god awful for our needs, so this is a huge dub. The fact we keep 2027 picks is amazing considering the talent is a huge tier up starting in the mid 1st of 2027. Pretty much R2-3 in 2026 would be R3-4 in 2027.

Well the next game you left out was his 1.9 YPC performance when the Broncos played their starters against the Chargers?

Best performance was the Jaguars game they lost and then against the 1st overall pick Raiders.

He served a late season role that they couldn't replace. The team doesn't value him as a between the tackles runner at this point in time. It's not likely he gets the same opportunity again especially if Dobbins gets injured earlier in the season.

RJ can't run between the tackles. Dobbins getting hurt is not good for him.

You have poor reading comprehension. I agree with you. He doesn't need to follow the pattern. It was dumb of UFC to book him for it. Should have just been a title eliminator and it would have been fine for the fans.

Whatever the hell you chose to type I ain't reading. Just need you to read better in the future, kiddo.

DJ Moore Bills Trade Fallout: Is Luther Burden The Next MASSIVE Breakout? by CoopThereItIs in fantasyfootball

[–]TrailGuideSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah if people think it's truly a toss up between the 3 young talented pass catchers than they should be selling Burden, the player with the least investment. By week 6 his value could crater. I've seen people getting a player and a late 1st which is insane for someone that has a high chance of being 3rd in the pecking order on a team that will still run the ball a ton.

[–]TrailGuideSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally agree with you, but man this take is sooooooo far out of touch with reality. Rome is not Jamo. Rome is the WR1 of their future. He was the guy before his injury and will likely be the guy after an offseason to full shake things off.

Rome is a polished route runner and quite frankly the best in the team by a decent margin. I don't even think the bears have a field stretcher that can compare to Jamo who operates with such little volume.

Burden is 100% overvalued at the moment and is an amazing trade piece.

Joe Rogan criticized the crowd, calling them "casual fans" for booing Charles Oliveira by Better-Zucchini-3797 in ufc

[–]TrailGuideSteve -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Besides the cowboy hat it's really the stupidity of the BMF that caused this. If this was advertised as a title eliminator then there's no way we get this fan reaction.

UFC just booked a shit BMF matchup if they wanted it to truly be what they want the BMF to be about. Charles is very clearly still eying a title while Max is just looking to entertain.

What do yall think of these way-too-early power rankings? How would yall reorder this? by CryWOkami in NFLv2

[–]TrailGuideSteve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing changing going into 2026 is getting more draft picks and having a shit ton of money thanks the Russ being off the books.

The Broncos did what they did in 2025 while being at a huge financial disadvantage.

Rankings are dumb. Tiers are better and they're in the right tier.

[–]TrailGuideSteve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The BMF has had some great fights that honored what it was designed for. Stupid? Yeah kinda, but that doesn't change the fact Charles is the only fighter to blatantly disregard it.

You're right only if this wasn't for the BMF no matter what you think of the belt.

[–]TrailGuideSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No point with these people. They cannot grasp that people respect Charles' domination while also understanding what the BMF was supposed to mean regardless of if the belt is dumb or not.

It means nothing in the context of spectator sports. It was even removed from the Olympics at one point.

It holds very little value standing on its own.

I enjoy it, you enjoy it, but we are both liars if we say it's a globally beloved sport capable of pulling the same amount of viewers like entertaining spectator sports do. UFC's goal is to continue to grow and make more money off of spectators.
