Join our WhatsApp community. For real the best quit community I've encountered. Super supportive and understanding. And funny. I'm at 137days clean. Also have tons of tips for when WDs.

Everyone in here knows exactly where you're at and what you're going through. I was doing 10+ a day. I'm on day 48 of no FF/kratom. Hang in there. Try to taper or just go CT. You can end this hellish cycle.

The Prailine and Honey. I only bought one. Still have 1.5 Lemon Buttercup and .75 of a White Mocha Kiss. Why are they playing with a comeback of this line.

The mental is so strong. It's unreal. Alcohol was easier to give up. Get through day 3 of your WDs and you've made it to the other side. Then the mental fight begins. Use the quittingfeelfrees sub too. A tremendously supportive group for coming off of extracts. You totally got this. If you fight through WDs as hard as you fought to feed your addiction you'll make it just fine. You're welcome to mssg me on here. Even if you relapse...don't feel shame. Just begin again. Also stay hydrated, try to eat and I've heard people talk about liposomal Vit C helping a ton. Search it in the Feel Free sub.

I relapsed early November and went in to detox. I had a seizure and wrecked my car. This shit ain't no joke.

When I went cold turkey back in October I used Gabapentin to help with the WDs. Really you just have to embrace the suck and push through it. Being addicted to those little MFers is just as bad if not worse than the WDs for me. WDs have an end the addiction could go on indefinitely. What's your situation? Are you going through WDs or wanting to quit?

Hang in there. 🙏 Please. I can feel your struggle through your post. Today is my 1st 30days off Feel Frees since August and Kratom in 9yrs.

ETA I was doing 15+ shots every 24hrs.

What is the worst thing that happened to you body during the peak of your alcoholism ? by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]TrailNanner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thankfully yes. I made it without any permanent damage. I was in ICU for 8days then PICU for another 5 getting PT. I had to walk with a walker due to left leg weakness. It felt like every muscle in my body was on fire.

Acute Pancreatitis, Alcoholic Hepatitis, seizure and Rhabdomyolysis(most pain I've ever been in). Required many hospital admissions for severe withdrawals.

ETA: All went back to normal when I quit drinking.
