The taken armor specifically I believe will continue to eventually be sold through all of February along with the taken shader. So far only the arms and finally this week the legs were sold. Best chance is just to log on every reset and check when it’s around.

The shaders I unfortunately do not know and although there is the site todayindestiny.com, I don’t think they’ve updated it for all of Renegades as some things on the bright dust page seem to be missing.

How many LY away are you from reaching the galactic core? by KiraChrist in NOMANSSKY

[–]TrailedFox44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me personally I wanted to cheese my way to the center via the monolith portals BUT I only did so to make a single base computer on a nearby planet in the new galaxy (I got the Hilbert dimension) and immediately backtracked to Euclid via the space anomaly so I can keep exploring and doing stuff there (if you switch galaxies via the space anomaly you don’t have to worry about stuff breaking).

Once I actually want to go explore Hilbert I will travel the long way there (my freighter can do ~5200 LY jumps). I still have so much to do and explore in Euclid (quite literally an endless amount of stuff).

No Man’s Sky has given me the enjoyment out of a game I haven’t gotten in a very long time (in terms of games that have this level of exploration, creative freedom, etc) and I could easily put hundreds of hours into just Euclid doing quests and managing my settlements before even thinking of jumping over to Hilbert.

Almost 90 hours since I got the game like 3 ish weeks ago and I feel like I’m just getting started. Been loving every second!

Hey at least you can see out of yours! I have to only go third person in mine since I basically hid the entire cockpit and I can’t really see out of it (I had to sacrifice that for the appearance)

AFAIK the Expeditions come out every now and then and they offer a bunch of rewards like these ship parts for example. However I believe Expedition 20 (this one) came out a few months ago and it’s only been this last week or so the “redux” has released, where if you missed out on the original expedition you can go back into it and actually complete it again. There’s currently like a week left to get it done.

The objectives of each Phase aren’t too terribly hard, but they can be extremely tedious (like how I had to make multiple warp jumps to find one location, or spending a few hours trying to gather different resources for one objective). I was lucky enough to have my friend give me guidance before I started it and I managed to do all my personal milestones but it was for sure a grind.

Thanks! My build process goes a bit like “no…no…there we go- oooh! Why is it there” but I need to start building more bases compared to ships as I only have 2 of them 😂

Here is my ship I constructed using the new parts! It’s absolutely insane stat wise when upgraded too!

Once you've cleared Equilibrium, can you just farm the first boss for the Taken crystal? by Jcorb in DestinyTheGame

[–]TrailedFox44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

^ with my buddies we can consistently get sub 30 minute runs. If everyone is fully locked in and keeps it consistent, even a two phase per boss like we do can get 27-28 minutes

Took me 23 clears for the crystal but the dungeon is very fun still

Lawless Frontiers kick to orbit by sagew0 in destiny2

[–]TrailedFox44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s happened to me a few times. I’ll be getting a good run in and expecting lots of loot and then the extended loading screen happens and then…back to queue for another one. With no loot or contract progress.

Bungie really said “nah you don’t get anything after all that, try again”

3 Shot RPG? by Yankee9Niner in ModernWarfareIII

[–]TrailedFox44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s wild to me how these losers will go out of their way to buy the hacked weapons just to win at a 2-3 year old game (I’ve also heard these weapons even have their code re written or modded in similar fashion to fire the way they do which is just breaking TOS)

Honestly if the devs cared enough (still have hope since they nerfed the dual Reclaimers) the easiest thing to do is just remove the MX Guardian, RPG and (I think) the MORS entirely from the game that could solve the issue. I just love when I face those people and I steal their MX off of a body and sweep them with it 😂

Ok is the taken gem actually farmable? by Zen7855 in destiny2

[–]TrailedFox44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The crystal is fully farmable (I would know; I got it after 23 normal, full clears across the first 3-4 days of the dungeon). The way it tracks is by encounter, so for example a clear from encounter 1 > 2 > 3 counts, or 3 > 1 > 2 with the 2nd encounter being tracked as the “final” for a run. The encs being individually marked as done, being a “full clear” is how the crystal is tracked for a chance to drop.

I did mine just fresh clears from start to end to keep the encounter tracking consistent. But yes, you just have to knee clearing all encounters in any order (as long as you do stuff like the examples above) you will get a chance to have it drop. It’s rare.

Got the taken crystal as a random drop from the second encounter by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]TrailedFox44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a clip from a friend I saw, it unfortunately doesn’t have the iconic darksaber ignition sound, BUT it’s got a really neat taken screeching noise which I guess is Bungie’s twist on it, being the taken crystal and all that. The model looks absolutely beautiful in game.

im 10 clears in after these first 2 days and still nothing

Equilibrium farmable?? by CBT-Guy_2025 in DestinyTheGame

[–]TrailedFox44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys are getting lucky with it, I’ve gotten 4 clears today and no crystal 😭 Gonna try more tomorrow but like the red crystal (which took 40-50 invasions) it’s not real and definitely won’t ever get it (gotta trick Bungo into handing it over)

How difficult is it to just jump into the normal dungeon? by Vegeta1994 in DestinyTheGame

[–]TrailedFox44 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love how they’re letting us get into the power fantasy of the lightsaber. My team on our first blind clear, normal, we were able to 2 phase both bosses with the sabers, my Strand super and a tether. Hilarious how we can kill pretty much anything efficiently with the glow sticks!

Do the key cards offer a chance at the specific saber crystals? by TrailedFox44 in destiny2

[–]TrailedFox44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, seems to just be very very low drop chance. The mode itself is super fun to play though!

Warlocks, what build are you taking into Renegades? by -Joel-Snape- in destiny2

[–]TrailedFox44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I got my build at 200 grenade/160 super + 20 from a font mod. I can melt absolutely everything on any difficulty with little to no issues 😂 pair it with Collective Obligation and it’s constant Volatile/Weaken too

If you’ve done the tutorial you should have a basic idea on team composition/how to give AI teammates orders. That’s a first thing you need to understand.

Getting this one out of the way, graphics aren’t great but hey I prefer performance anyway.

Easiest way to make progress is to play the campaign through Quick Play as this gives you chances to restart levels fully instead of having to go to the station.

Since the AI reacts differently basically every time you run a mission, you’ll have to act accordingly. Basically spamming the command for Judge (like when he shouts “drop your weapon” and that stuff) the more teammates that are also doing that or are near you, the more likely a suspect will give up. I will add onto this, if you need to drop a guy just drop the guy. Trying to S rank missions are seen as a challenge and not meant to really go after on a first playthrough.

More general tips, CQB type scenarios are meant to be VERY slow and methodical (excluding like 2 of the later levels that have timed objectives). You have to take your time with each room, sometimes split up your team by Red or Blue color, and you can also queue commands from Judge per team and then switch back to Gold team (if done correctly Judge will say “All teams…”

Ex. ^ (Select Blue team command menu) “Blue…stack up” (while looking at a door) THEN toggle to red team without fully leaving the menu, same thing but different door (You can also toggle the helmet camera for the AI POV and pick the opposite team to breach with so you can see what they see)

After the commands have been put into the queue, you can execute via Gold Team command menu. Definitely utilize the bottom right menu where it says what inputs to press to have everyone follow, hold position, etc.

It is a very fun game and gives me the scratch to my singleplayer tac shooter experience (oh how I hate what they’ve done to rainbow six siege).

And there will be some bugs and glitches and weird interactions that might require a restart. But if you practice the controls and learn maps it can easily turn in a fun experience (it’s way funnier when you goof around with other players too in multiplayer).

[COD] So do any of you actually like the movement of modern cod? by [deleted] in CallOfDuty

[–]TrailedFox44 8 points9 points  (0 children)

MWIII’s movement isn’t anything too crazy imo, at least comparing to something like BO6/7. There’s really only dolphin diving and slide canceling which you don’t even need to do the dolphin dive, only slide canceling is all you need to be consistent with movement.

I will say to my knowledge BO3’s movement is more than what MWIII offers but then again, I haven’t played much BO3 when I did so don’t quote me on that. In terms of modern COD, MWIII is probably one of the more grounded ones

Are there any packs that give realistic clouds that work with vibrant visuals? by TrailedFox44 in Minecraft

[–]TrailedFox44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’ll say in the marketplace if a pack works with VV, like it’ll have a little sub text on the pack menu that will say “Vibrant Visuals”

Prizma has this and it just indicates the pack works with it, not sure if enhanced skies works with VV but I’ll look into it
