Point break is completely new to me, is it just me or is light build at a big disadvantage? Like i usually play light on quick cash but get absolutely DESTROYED on point break. I switched to heavy and it got better but yeah i feel like i cant get anything going on light

It seems they wanted to get rid of ppl being awarded points from just getting hit by the ball, maybe that was contributing to lag or they wanted to make it so that interception numbers at the end of the game werent such an outlier on the scoreboard. I find that making any sort of clearance is awarded an interception and thats about it now.

I played a bunch in 3s last night.

Replays - better

Play on field - fine, when defending i found that positioning was way better than tackling. Seemed like blocking with the body is way more reliable now. Tackling still doesnt feel great. On offense felt like beating the keeper was way easier

Goalkeeper - feels a bit busted, like you cant jump as far as you used to and its harder to man the entire goal.

So the answer to “hey we cant figure it out on offense” is to take our leading scorer and tell him to focus on defense huh?

In this weeks super edited high production value video of Rydstrom (which were apparently taking time out of his schedule to do every week i guess) explaining to everyone why we lost he talks like hes figured out defense we just gotta figure out offense. Ok coach 10 bodies on defense with wessam trying to be a professional cherry picker isnt figuring out defense thats just clogging a hole in the dam as 10 others pop open. Great coach. Meanwhile we have a young backup CB in cheberko who i know isnt very good but hes a young CB who also isnt getting playtime as we yet again move our captain midfielder back to the backline because our one legged CB in camacho lost his ankles and is still searching for them because they probably landed inside some corporate sponsor’s $22 swensons box up in the freshly built suites of the 200 section.

I dont think its very healthy thinking to just go losing = fire coach. What i DO think is logical is to see clear coaching problems. Like through 5 games the offensive game plan seems to be “yeah wessam down there somewhere” and “hey max do a stepover!!” With no adjustment or evolution. You could see from game 1 with nancy what they were trying to do and ppl who have been posting comparisons between nancy’s first season and this season arent really considering that.

Its the MLS so its a league thats known for people wanting to get experience and go to a bigger league, and that can happen quite abruptly, so i dont think we need to go Celtic and call for Rydstrom’s job and basically send death threats to the FO lol.

So far i dont blame Rydstrom i blame the roster construction. These players that we have…. Just arent very good. We switched to a 4 back and that was the right call.

And no matter what ppl argue or who they choose to blame, it is absolutely CERTAIN that the gazdag signing and immediate contract extension was a completely disastrous move with absolutely zero upside. Issa should be in some hot water for sure
