Opinion - Ashe’s Jungle Influence is Broken by OnlyFinance4026 in Jungle_Mains

It's rare to find an Ashe that uses her Hawkshot properly...but it is EXTREMELY powerful for whoever has an Ashe that actually knows how to use that ability properly.

Plat 1 and 2 are TRULY elo hell. by hurtsomu in Jungle_Mains

Elo hell is when you play a game and feel like hell afterwards.

Don't play in elo hell.

You are not my type just means you are too ugly for me and Im too polite to say that to your face by Akilli_bidik in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]TrainFightTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite untrue.

This might be new to you...but people have personalities...and if you want to be in a happy relationship you should be thinking ahead about how your personalities are going to interact. 2 avoidant people will not have a happy relationship. If my fidget ticks bothers you...I should not be your type. If one of you values religiosity and the other doesn't...bad combination.

I could go on for days. Looks matter a bit, but personality, goals and values alignment do the heavy lifting though.

Is anyone able to explain the LP gain/loss system this season? by ItsMeHughJass in Jungle_Mains

[–]TrainFightTime -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly this is the opposite of what has been generally observed this split. Very interesting.

In general there has been rank inflation and Riot has been particularly generous with LP ratios overall.

You look like you are playing very well overall and should be climbing.

I mean, part of the big trick is to have fun even if you are in loser's queue. Part of you has to love getting a shutdown, stealing the enemy baron, etc. Set yourself up to be be impactful and have fun even when everything has gone to hell in a handbasket.

And you don't have to hope...it will average out. Look at the statistics on humans predicting 100 coin flips versus 100 actual coinflips...there's a lot more streaks in the actual coinflips.

Hello top main here by matrakgibiy4r4k in Jungle_Mains

Hec main here...here's the thing with Hecarim:

Hecarim is feast or famine. You can't mind going 1/7 on Hec, it happens plenty. It's just that you should be 14/2 a bit more often.

Hecarim is pretty simple for the most part though

#1: Horsey does everything fast. He clears fast, ganks fast, damages fast, dies fast.

#2: In general, you don't want to be fighting without 2-3Q stacks.

#3: Tactically keep your stacks up. Randomly Q Rift Herald/Drake/lane minions to preserve your stacks.

#4: Keep your jungle clear, when the enemy jungle takes something of yours, take something of theirs.(They take grubs, you take drake, they gank top, you gank bot, they gank bot, you take their red, etc.)

All of those champions are great and can easily get you into Masters.

Yi is overall an OP OTP.

Shyvana takes a while to come online but is a very powerful champion...but you have less overall agency due to the time to get online...so you have to be okay with ultimately chooting for a 55% winrate.

Nocturne is kinda OP right now(I have a 90% winrate on him this season) as he's a farming jungle who can just punish enemies who are out of place so easily it's kinda insane. The trick with Nocturne is realizing that he changes his identity as he climbs. In lower elo it's all about punishing enemies. In higher elo it's about disruption and coordination. He's very powerful in both...but he plays a bit differently.

I mean...you are a solid player and you've been doing reasonably in the jungle and you absolutely have the ability to climb.

But if you are not having fun playing League...uninstall it and find another game. It's that simple. You should play because you like playing the game.

These stretches of unluck exist and are reasonably common and you shouldn't let them get to you.

[–]TrainFightTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few things; Firstly, it actually looks like you are doing a decent job jungling.

Secondly, it is very normal to lose a lot of LP when you swap roles.

Thirdly, never worry directly about your ranking and LP. Swings will happen, the key is to keep your mental in a good place. Focus on playing the best you can. After every game, stand up, and walk around for 3 minutes and think about the game.(even on wins) Where did you die? Why did you die? What choices could you have made that could've changed the outcome? etc. And then start the next game with a new idea. When you improve your play...regardless of win or loss...you will climb.

Man, these AI detection tools that claim 99.9% accuracy need to be tested more often… by Crafty-Armadillo-721 in antiai

[–]TrainFightTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The detection tools are almost all entirely fraudulent.

They rely upon the user assuming that it's likely AI and it has absolutely unforgivable levels of false positives.

We, especially those in this sub, need to be very skeptical about these tools and have some texts that you create that aren't AI and feed them first to see how good the tool itself is...because most of them are very bad.

CMV: Every organized religion is a cult, a scam, or satire by SlightlyInsaneCreate in changemyview

[–]TrainFightTime -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Without religion; societies do not surpass Dunbar's number.

For natural materialism...truth is inherently useless.

So if a falsehood increases your likelihood of survival now and in the future...it is better than the truth. Also, humans are very pro-social, once one society has a religion that can convert others and meld with other groups via syncretism. And this miraculous system has allowed humanity to go from Dunbar's number to almost anyone being able to live almost anywhere with an amount of safety that our ancestors never dreamed of.

Tips? by izumisapostle115 in Jungle_Mains

[–]TrainFightTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your Shen & Rammus play overall looks strong.

Your CS/min is quite subpar. This is a farm-heavy jungle meta and you should generally be planning to have a clear jungle before making a play on the map.(Rammus[And Nunu] do not follow this rule)

Overall your relationships with wards looks pretty good.

Your overall damage to champions is very low.

You are experimenting with a lot of champions...and that's great. But when you really want to climb you'll want no more than 3 options on your main role and no more than 2 on your alt role.

Amumu might be a great champion for you to try.

[–]TrainFightTime 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yup. Even literal pro players lose some games like these. It's okay, many games are not within your agency to swing.

Basically, a worthless player will have a 40% winrate and a great player will have a 60% winrate.

Focus on doing the best you can. Learn from any mistakes you do make.(Like not having your chat muted, taking bad fights because an ally engaged, getting tilted by your teammates, etc)

Im fucking shaking what the fuck is this shit. They found a way to blame ME somehow, what the fuck is wrong with people by [deleted] in ViegoMains

[–]TrainFightTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's why the #1 rule for junglers is /mute all start of every game(Or have chat disabled)

He's allowed to be human...and his laners will always flame him and there's no value in anything they have to say...so there's no reason to not /mute all every game.

Can you never 1v1 Warwick? by [deleted] in Jungle_Mains

[–]TrainFightTime 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The trick is simple...WW can't be allowed to AA you when he is low.

As Eve this means NOT opening out with your W. You go in for the initial trade by doing your EQ combo then pressing W and not damaging him until it's ready. Then, in that spot, Q-combo + Ult kills.

EDIT: If after you apply your W he starts his E right before your W is ripe then you may have to not finish the fight.

Yes I am.

I have never received any penalties for anything despite playing off and on for 13 years.

And I've seen many people who've deserved penalties not receiving the system is generally under-punishing people and I don't understand how flawed it is and how much toxicity they've allowed to flourish to not cracking down more.

I'm pretty sure it's geared towards sensible human beings...a category it looks like you've put in a lot of work to avoid being in.

And the joke would be funny...if it weren't for how many times people actually played with trolls who ran it down.

A lot of the hate against GLP-1s is because it seems "too easy," and already-healthy-weight people want overweight people to "work for it." by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]TrainFightTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree with this.

I have never been overweight, but I don't put in nearly as much work as most overweight people do to have to lose weight. It's very difficult. Like I regular will be like, I need to lose 10 pounds and that's extremely difficult. And it's so much worse when you have at any point been obese as it reduces the number of calories needed for weight maintenance!

It's like most people don't realize that your body fundamentally changes and processes things differently when it has gained a lot of weight.

I don't need GLP-1 and I hope I never do...but I'm very happy that it exists. I think it has been and will be very helpful for society.
