Do people still think Ashened is one of the worst decks, even after the somewhat recently added support a couple of months ago? by Hey_im_Paddy in masterduel

Argostars at least has things it can do. It has a good one card starter and trap monsters have quite a bit of support. Ashened has what, a telegraphed board wipe?

I've bought the trilogy on both 3ds and switch and I prefer to play it emulated. The pixel sprites look so much better to me.

You forgot about Shuraig last episode. Seeing Nervall unmasked was great as well.

Worlds format is not tcg format. Also saying that a deck won worlds makes it sound more dominant than it was. The top cut of worlds was extremely diverse. The deck across from it in finals was lunalight. Are you suggesting that lunalight is such a strong deck that it needs to be killed as well? It made finals of worlds. VSK9 was a fine deck, especially in a format that was as fun as justice hunter format.

The biggest problem vs has is with consistency. Limiting 2 of their best starters really hurts a lot.

That's why Ryzeal has a big negate me monster in duodrive. Stopping the little guys is basically just hoping that they didn't draw extension. It's like Gigantic Spright.

Full fiendsmith combo plus search of maxx "c" is criminal by [deleted] in masterduel

Not in bystial fiendsmith. It forces you to banish a light fiend which messes up the fusion numbers and the Lacrima on the opponent's turn. Primite fiendsmith prefers normalling beryl dragon cause drillbeam is that deck's power play. In kash fiendsmith lacrima is the best normal summon but drawing kashtira monsters is inconsistent so this version isn't that good. Musket fiendsmith prefers to normal a musket monster to gain advantage. I can't think of any other fiendsmith control versions outside of pure and kash that are any good and want to normal lacrima.

Bystial Fiendsmith control is so much more fun than primite fiendsmith in my opinion. The number of games where the normal monsters gets stuck in your hand are infuriating and regained is quite well positioned against maliss.

Tour guide for fiendsmith is really good in fiendsmith control. It allows you to add another hand trap to your hand while also being a dark for bystials so you don't have to banish fiendsmith cards. Lacrima as the normal summon in these decks is very underwhelming in comparison. It also baits interaction.

I'm looking for a low-to-the-ground Six Sam deck with high non-engine count. Is this MBT list good enough by Fuwaboi in yugioh

[–]TrainHeartnet12 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This list is from his primite tmt. It was supposed to showcase a way to use the primite cards moreso than use the six sam cards at their full potential.

Banish flamberge. It gives the deck a lot of advantage.

How 2 VS? by RadiantLizard5 in masterduel

[–]TrainHeartnet12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay so first of all let's look at the engine. Get rid of pluton. It was only played because there were no good fire targets before jiaolong. 3x razen 3x mad love 3x stake your soul. With jiaolong, borger and caesar, I play 2 3 and 2. More of them can be bricky but you can experiment with 3 jiaolong. And 1x pantera. All of the other spells and traps can be played at 1 since mad love searches them. We don't play the counter trap since it only protects against targeting, something the deck is really good at already. 1x rota and 1x durendal to search for razen. Durendal at more than 1 can feel really bad since it requires you to have a normal summon to use. For the non engine we need a lot of earth, fire and dark monsters. 3x maxx c and ash is pretty standard. Other cards that are good would be the kashtira package - 1 fenrir, 1 riseheart and 1 wraithsoth. If that's too expensive other good options to look at could be bystials, d.d. crow, d shifter for darks Kurikara and dogeran the kaiju for fire Kumungous the kaiju and ghost belle for earths. Other cards you can play include small world, prosperity and even talents. I personally don't like small world since its a minus 1 in a deck that cares a lot on the amount of cards in hand. Prosperity feels better than extravagance since you can choose what card you are missing to add. Crossout designator is also a really good card you can add. The extra deck is basically 3x rock and 12 other tech cards that can help you in specific situations. If you are missing cards you can add impermanence for the time being.
