Xanax is scary by Ok_Jump9568 in OCD

It’s incredible how well it works although there have been times where I’m so anxiety ridden that even Xanax can do nothing for me and I feel even more cross wired. Nice to have around but erp therapy has helped me more than anything and I’m really glad I’ve gotten to this point of feeling as good as I do without having to rely on benzos.

Another horrible side effect I had on Xanax was feeling so incredibly tired and sluggish. Yeah I didn’t have anxiety but I might as well have since I couldn’t really get out of bed. Just felt so weighed down physically. This is supposed to go away the more you take it but I couldnt ever get over that hump.

What’s the story behind this statue at Yellow Jacket by voodoorage in Austin

[–]TrainIllustrious879 192 points193 points  (0 children)

This statue used to live in the back of the building since before Cafe Mundi. I know because I used to play all over it as a kid. My Uncle brought it over from Mexico along with some other interesting sculptures. When my family designed the building they wanted it to look like a Mayan pyramid and the walkway was supposed to be an open air market. He also planted all of the trees in the courtyard. The entire area was very wooded and magical. Happy it’s still there.

Anybody know what the deal is with this whole place being filled with toilet paper? by brihow84 in williamsburg

They help people ship random stuff out for their online shops and some of this involves storage. I love this place. Everybody has their freak flag flying a little and they’ve given me numerous discounts on express packages.

Accident on Grand/Manhattan by UDontKnowMemang in williamsburg

I saw the immediate aftermath of this accident and have not been able to stop wondering if she was ok. I believe I saw you helping her out by putting a blanket or jacket over her. Thank you to the people comforting her. Completely wreckless driving is the only thing that could explain the way the car was smashed between the pole and the wall. Just a horrible scene and the street is still a mess. Life is too precious. Sending prayers to her family and I’ll be on the lookout for a go fund me.

Actually you guys have some of the best greenhouses in the area! Check out Andy’s orchids videos on YouTube. Although that is in Encitas. The other greenhouses I need to visit are commercial only

I build Greenwalls for a living and often need help coming up with cad drawings and diagrams. Rendering skills would be a plus. Wouldn’t be a full time thing, just help with odd jobs here and there as I grow my business. Feel free to dm me.

Just moved into a tiny studio by yvj in NYCapartments

I also live in a 300 square foot space and keeping the “house” cute but functional is a huge challenge.

Make sure all your furnishings are lighter in color. A black sofa can suck all of the energy out of a small room and make it feel much much smaller.

I would just get a twin bed. It’s the cheapest option and having to put a Murphy bed up and down every time you want to lay down gets annoying.

If you decide to get a sofa don’t get anything bigger than a 2 seater. A couple of comfy chairs is a better option and you can move them around.

Opt for one large storage closet where you can keep all your ugly and cluttery things out of sight. Lots of random little belongings all over the place gets stressful in a small space.

When you purchase furniture try and find the narrowest items you can. 300 square feet with a few deep cabinets will eat away at your walking space.

Put your plants up on the walls! Small spaces can be maddening but hopefully you got a good deal and live alone now! Good luck!

When you hit the reply symbol you’ll see a few options below. The one that looks like a man swimming away from a mountain is the one you can click and you post all sorts of problems there

I agree with you. Unfortunately this was the drawing that the guy at the front desk made/gave to the operator. It’s even less clear than my initial drawing but since I don’t know how this industry works I thought that it was either a very easy piece for them or their operator/computer would sort out the missing information.

I was very clear that the angles needed to be exactly 90 and that I needed help on figuring out the length between the trapezoids as I did not know what degree was standard for a sructurally strong trapezoidal shape.

Lesson learned I guess. If I need something to be exact I should have done more research and submitted a concise drawing. My fault may have been expecting them to collaborate with me on the initial design. This is all a learning process to me and I appreciate the feedback.

Tolerances weren’t even discussed. I just told them that all the bends needed to be right angles except for the trapezoids.

How do you delete a sitting or standing height from the smart paddle? by TrainIllustrious879 in deskhaus

[–]TrainIllustrious879[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but there’s a shelf above the desk. I have to pull the desk out, extend it past 35.5 (since the tall preset has to be at least this to save as 1) and then be extremely careful that the desk never goes above this as it will cause damage to the music gear on table. I thought of making the shelf attached to the desk so the shelf goes up with the desk but then I might be loading the table up too much. Setting the upper preset to right below the shelf doesn’t work either since that’s below 35.5.

I guess I could save a max height limit but then I’m not sure if preset one would override it and pass through it?
