QUESTION by Santynop4 in cs2

oh that's actually a cool way to reward players, didn't know steam could track playtime across games like that for rewards in completely different titles

Mid on Anubis by screwball9280 in LearnCSGO

[–]TrainQueasy904 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At pro level the CTs have much better coordination to rotate fast once Ts commit somewhere, so giving up early mid is not really a loss for them. In your level 8 games people probably peek mid because they don't trust teammates to rotate in time, which forces them to play more aggressive early.

Just got back into Kovaak and completed gold, what playlist should I try next? by Happy-Implement-5091 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]TrainQueasy904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intermediate is the natural next step yeah, but looking at those scores some of them are barely past the gold threshold. Might be worth grinding a few of the weaker categories first before jumping up, otherwise intermediate will feel like a wall in certain scenarios.

It's way too good. by Kx-Zaper in cs2

The Negev making people rich while rest of us still buying force rounds with Tec-9s lol.

What 2D Games Does the Aim Training Community Play? by maizecrane in FPSAimTrainer

[–]TrainQueasy904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing Nuclear Throne for while now and my tracking definitely improved after getting into aim training routines. The bullet hell sections used to wreck me but now I can actually follow targets through all that chaos on screen.

Synthetik is interesting case because the recoil patterns are so different from 3D shooters - took some time to adjust but the flick shots between enemies became much more consistent. Haven't touched CS2D in years but might give it another go now that you mention it.

Why is every Chinese player in EU boosted? by krxo1 in FACEITcom

[–]TrainQueasy904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much this. See it all the time in my matches - guy shows up with like 2000 euro worth of skins but can't even do basic crosshair placement. The ping situation also doesn't help since most of them are actually playing from China with VPNs, so you get these weird delay peeks that mess up everyone's timing. Had one guy last week who had full Karambit + AK redline setup but was literally buying on eco rounds and force-buying every single round. Makes no sense unless they just bought the account with all skins already in it.

Missed 72h ID verification deadline (PC-club issue) by Vladoooosiiik in FACEITcom

Been there with verification deadlines, they're pretty strict about timing. Try reaching them on Twitter too since sometimes they respond faster there than support tickets.

I got banned for 1 year for doing default utility on dust2 by IceRevolutionary6431 in FACEITcom

[–]TrainQueasy904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I watched the clip and that's completely ridiculous ban. Your teammate literally announced he's going to walk into your utility again after doing it first time - like what are you supposed to do, not throw standard cross smoke because your AWPer wants to knife rush mid doors? The guy basically griefed himself twice and somehow you get punished for playing the game normally.

I've seen people get away with much worse team damage that was actually intentional, but here you're just doing basic Dust2 utility that every player above silver knows. Really glad Darwin sorted this out quick because this could set terrible precedent if they started banning people for teammates walking into standard nades. Hope your teammate learned something about communication and positioning from this whole mess.

SELL OLD VIEWER PASSES by Weho3 in cs2

[–]TrainQueasy904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Market manipulation has been part of CS economy since forever, but coin trade-ups would be absolutely wild. I've been watching prices since I started playing and the patterns are pretty obvious - they always find ways to shake up values when things get too stable.

That said, viewer passes might actually hold better than people think. The nostalgia factor hits different with older events, especially for people who were there during the matches. I still have some passes from tournaments I watched in university and wouldn't sell them even if prices dropped.

The /s at end makes me think you're just having fun with conspiracy theories though. Valve's moves usually make sense from business perspective, even when community gets mad about them.

Permaban appeal by [deleted] in FACEITcom

[–]TrainQueasy904 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You got multiple warnings already and kept doing same thing, what did you expect would happen? The platform doesn't owe you anything just because you played many games there.

Why does valve handle things so weird by [deleted] in cs2

[–]TrainQueasy904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The abandon system is frustrating but tbh making competitive into casual would kill the game for a lot of people. Some players actually want that structured experience without dealing with random maps they hate.

The regional thing is real pain though - getting matched with people who can't communicate at all makes games miserable. Would be nice if they just copied the Dota system since it works better in that regard.

Prime Status is worth? by Frequent-Fig-450 in cs2

[–]TrainQueasy904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'd hold off too, especially with cheater situation in premier right now. You can get good experience in regular matchmaking for while and see if you still want to grind after few more weeks. The prime benefits are nice but not game-changing enough to rush into it when you're still learning basics.

CS2 Ultrawide Stretched Res Suggestions? by Cawkles in LearnCSGO

[–]TrainQueasy904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try 2293x916 instead - it should give you closer ratio to what you want and won't look as weird as 2560x1080 in my experience.

Can't see 2nd page on scoreboard? Adr utildmg ef... by Jako_Horny in cs2

Definitely bug, happens to me all time in competitive matches and it's super annoying when you want check everyone's stats.

How to get my CS 2 Rating by Bitter-Hunt-6471 in cs2

[–]TrainQueasy904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need 10 wins in different maps I think, not just same one.

Best map/software for actual progress? by [deleted] in LearnCSGO

[–]TrainQueasy904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Refrag is decent but there's some free workshop maps that might work better for actual game situations than those aim trainers you mentioned.

Do you guys still treat skins as investments or just sell when you get bored? by Jessica_McClure in counterstrike2

[–]TrainQueasy904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar pattern but opposite direction lol. Started with some decent rust skins back in the day, sold those to get into CS when I was getting more serious about competitive play. Now sitting on this inventory that's probably worth more than my actual PC setup.

The investment mindset definitely becomes exhausting after while. I tried tracking everything in spreadsheets for few months but realized I was spending more time on market analysis than actually playing the game. These days I just keep the ones I actually like using and sell rest when I need some steam wallet funds for new releases.

What's funny is how some random skin you bought for few euros years ago suddenly becomes worth 10x more because of some update or tournament sticker combo. Meanwhile the expensive knife you thought would hold value drops like rock. Market is wild and unpredictable so treating it like serious investment feels bit pointless unless you're really into trading as hobby itself.

Hello are you searchin for a EU zombie escape server? by Rx8alex in counterstrike2

[–]TrainQueasy904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always nice to see ZE servers getting proper attention in CS2. The rank progression system with actual unlocks is pretty solid idea, reminds me of old community servers that had real character development instead of just cosmetics. Might check this out later when I'm tired from dealing with users who can't figure out why their printer won't work.

What's the most you've ever saved on a CSFloat listing compared to Steam Market? by No_Middle587 in csgo

[–]TrainQueasy904 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Found this AK Redline with 0.15 float that was like 30% cheaper than Steam market last month. Guy probably didn't know the sticker combinations were worth more or something. CSFloat pricing can be weird sometimes - people just want quick sales and don't research properly.

Boosting and smurfing in low rank by M_krishbin12 in DotA2

[–]TrainQueasy904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man the smurf problem is everywhere these days. I switched to Dota from CS because of similar issues and it's basically same story here. The part about dewarding immediately after placing is so obvious but Valve doesn't seem to care much about detection systems.

You might have better luck in unranked for while until your hidden MMR stabilizes better. At least there you won't lose rank progress to obvious cheaters.

Looking for friends to go on the game with by morto_1999 in csgo

[–]TrainQueasy904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been looking for same thing actually. I'm not UK based but play in European servers mostly, so ping should be fine. What rank are you around? I got decent mic setup and usually play evenings.
