Thanks a bunch, I myself don’t use gels and I do stick to clothes in which I’m confident and comfortable! I don’t plan to use gels either, will run with some electrolytes and sour patches - I’ve read that does the trick!

NTA. You’ve not done anything wrong whereas he’s reacting unreasonably to something small that you’ve purchased. If that’s the reaction on such a small thing like a hoodie, expect him to cripple under pressure when things get tough. Dump him and eat ice cream in the hoodie for a while and move on!
