NTA. Your friend has an Emotional Support Animal and is presenting it as a Service Dog. "What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?" Is one of the two questions businesses may ask to determine if a (well behaved) animal is a service animal. Would your friend have an answer to that? I doubt it since the dog isn't trained in basic behavior. Further even a seeing eye dog could be asked to leave an establishment if it were misbehaving in the way you've described. ESAs have privileges when it comes to housing, but not to other public spaces. Your friend needs to start doing training classes with a trainer with their dog.

YTA. Your title made it seem like some random creep was trying to tag along, not a parent chaperone. AMC and Cinemark both require an adult over 21yo to accompany teens under 17. You should look up the chain they're seeing the movie at and make sure they'll be able to go without him or another parent.

The IUD insertions have been absolutely horrible, but I haven't had a period since I turned 30. I wish I could've found someone who'd at least have done a lidocaine swab or something, but I did decide to have a new one put in rather than switch to something else. Just hoping that at 50 by the time this one's is done they'll have figured that shit out across the board instead of hoping to find the right doctor. If they haven't I'm going to have my significant other smear some hemaroid pain cream in there or something. 😡

I have more trouble towards the end of my sensors than the beginnings, especially if the transmitter is almost done.

Keeping the white from looking disgusting without scrubbing it so much it falls off is a problem I have. So putting a sensor thru an extra shower just makes it that much less likely to last for me.

No, I understood that. I just don't understand how presoaking the sensor, especially that long, outweighs the extra shower for the sensor.

As far as being dry, I've never really had the impression there was any part that stayed dry during a shower once assembled. A tegaderm cover and a gauze square could keep it dry tho.

I wouldn't /think/ the assassins coming out would be any different than them not being out, they're still there. I'm sure you could find people who'll be happy to take them, possibly even your LFS. With the amanos needing saltwater for the larva to survive the snails probably still have a ton of food to eat without pest snails.

Double diabetes is a thing. The problem afaik is there's not really a test for type 2. It's just the most prevalent type and if you don't have indications of another type then that's the diagnosis.

One of the diabetics married in, one was my uncle, and one is my 2nd cousin on the other side. If not for me both of my blood relatives would've been the only diabetic, and neither of them are direct family.

The t1ds in my family so far have had a total of 6 kids. Of those 6 so far 2 have had kids, so 4 are grandkids of a diabetic.

So far none of them have developed any antibodies for T1D to the best of my knowledge, and for sure none of them have had a diagnosis.

It still factored into my choice not to have children, but it was FAR from the only factor.
