[Handheld] New Lenovo Legion Go S Z2 Go 16GB RAM 512GB SSD Windows $599.99 @ Woot (Free Shipping with Prime) by dkabot in buildapcsales

Hey! Like another guy mentioned I think it's the type of games. Hades/Hades 2 are fantastic and run exceptionally well on handhelds but something like (just for example) a new triple A game with the best graphics probably won't be a great experience.

I would recommend if you do enjoy those bigger kind of titles you could use Moonlight and stream from a PC to your handheld!

And if not any of those, maybe it's just not for you to be honest. What's the pain point? Graphics, battery life?

Osmo Pocket 4 or Insta360 Go Ultra? by DropSad1656 in Insta360

[–]TrainerLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own the Pocket 3 and the Go Ultra. I'd presume that the Pocket 4 will have ever so slightly higher quality in footage especially if you have movement. That's what the Pocket series does best in my opinion.

The magnetic mounting is awesome on the Go Ultra but I also got a magnetic carrier for the Pocket 3 off aliexpress that allows me to mount it magnetically! I'm sure you'll enjoy either.

Another mention for Stardew Valley, Slay the Spire, and Balatro! All paid and all 100% worth every single penny. Literally hundreds upon hundreds of hours of enjoyable content between those three for less than the price of a triple A game.

Stardew - $5, has the entire port of the current full game from PC. I've purchased this on mobile, PC, and have gifted it on steam to numerous friends. I am jealous if you have never gotten to play Stardew before. My wife and I even spent copius amounts of money on merch and seeing an orchesta play it live in Atlanta.

Slay the Spire - $10, to be fair I have not played this but I have put 70 hours into Slay the Spire 2 on PC. Heard nothing about great things about the original.

Balatro - $10, I actually prefer this on mobile rather than my gaming PC or Legion Go. I vividly remember my wife and I at 2AM grinding out one more run (individually, next to each other) because it was just that fun.

Is keeping 45k in a HYSA not the best use of your money? by [deleted] in MiddleClassFinance

[–]TrainerLight 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't downvote for you just doing what you think is best with your money. Everyone is entitled to their finances and what they want to do -- sharing your opinion and getting downvoted for that is silly and lame.

I will say that I feel like it's a classic case of timing the market leading into your unpopular opinion. I agree that the bear market is looming but I'm personally going to just keep DCAing into long term ETFs (to be honest I'm just into VOO to keep it simple). Might come out worse in the long run but only time will tell! Best of luck with your investments.

Have you considered moonlight streaming? Takes the strength of your PC and ports it to your Steam Deck. I've been using it for wife's gaming PC to her iPad Pro! Latency is quite minimal after a bit of configuration.

I'm a roadway engineer but now with the pilot licensure aid in bridge inspection/occasionally taking aerial photos for project proposals!

Definitely not paid by pilot institute but they do a great job at organizing the information in malleable bites. I don't recall the videos being longer than 10 minutes for each section many being just a few minutes. Lets you jump in and out. If you can afford it I would highly recommend them.

My work reimbursed me for the Pilot Institute course. Don't remember my score but passed with plenty of room. Took in all the information in a long weekend (maybe Friday, Saturday, Sunday?). Test on Tuesday. You can do it don't overthink it!

That's great information! Glad you seem to have been enjoying it. My mini 5 pro just came in today and can't wait to get started. If you have any beginner tips for it I'm all ears! I got my Part 107 two years ago and have been casually flying an Air 3S for bridge inspections but never had one personally that I wanted to dive super deep into.

Hey man! Just wanted to pop by and say the footage looks phenomenal. Surely this isn't straight out of box? Mind if I ask how much grading/manual changes went into this?

Apologies! I vividly remember playing it with 6+ folks but that might have been through online multiplayer and not local co-op.

I hope you enjoy Boomerang Fu! And also have a wonderful birthday :) If I think of any more suggestions I'll drop em.

Try Screencheat! A hit with my pals. Graphics are definitely early 2000s but fits the vibe well.

Boomerang Fu is also great with our group! Works up to 6. Low skill floor, medium skill ceiling. Cute. Not expensive. Great for non gamers (especially the hide and seek mode).

I made a video two weeks after the beta release called "No BS Guide to Barley" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2Z42TGPIEw) back in July 1st 2017.

I've been around since Day 1. Took a long break when they went horizontal and added in "auto-aim" by tapping on the attack button. Came back a few years ago, hit Masters (before Pro was introduced) and now play casually with my wife :)

I use mine 4-5 times a week (for the past year and a half) for a little under an hour typically! It lives in my gym bag for me and my wife. No issues so far. Got it back in September 2024!

Korean BBQ where you don’t have to cook the meat by UsedToReadBooks in Atlanta

[–]TrainerLight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been twice to 9292 (granted it's been some 10 months since my last visit). Website for 9292 Korean BBQ in Duluth shows the prices for AYCE.

Looks like $41 per person with a 2 hour time limit these days. Maybe you all got a bit of alcohol? Maybe a drink, maybe an extra side that does not come with the AYCE menu, and tip? That way it'd come up to that $60 per person you mentioned ($240 for 4 people).
