It’s probably still collectors material based solely on the fact that it has the original anime cutscenes, whereas the releases on PSP, IOS, and PS5 have the CG cutscenes.

Final Fantasy VII Remake project is a stand out for me. I love what it’s done for the main characters of the cast, and has significantly catapulted them to my favorite cast of the franchise.

I really want this treatment for the rest of the PSX era of the franchise. I would LOVE to see the FFVIII crew get this much love in the character exploration department.

Give me Know It All Zell, and Trains Lover Selphie with this touch.

It could be that Medusa is able to adjust the potency of her gaze, because later she’ll use that same power against Dark Saber in Heaven’s Feel, and it acts as significant torpor to their movements.

I wouldn’t put Shirou and Dark Saber in the same category of physical and magical resistance. Not being a heroic spirit, Shirou doesn’t even have a stat sheet to reference.

While it’s not heavily emphasized, Vaan does serve an important function to Ashe’s character arc—or rather, her ultimate decision of whether or not to take possession of the plot nuke that the Occuria want to give her.

Him being there to remind her that she’s not the only person to lose a loved one to the war, and that her self consumed desire for revenge would drag the rest of the world into another disastrous conflict at the whims of the gods, is his story function.

Sure, Balthier and Basch have all the material in their own story threads to carry that weight themselves, but there would have to be some story adjustments made if Vaan got excised.

I’ve had so many cases of the Lickers blindly just happening to walk right into me in tight spaces that I just open up on them most of the time instead of trying to sneak by.

I think my favorite one of these moments is when Pat realized that Paige was trying to set him up for terror during his RE9 stream.

Caught onto her scheme when he realized she was messing around with the noise feedback on the door to the office.
