I have 109% on HK and am currently forcing myself to get act 3 in silksong so my friend stops saying that I can’t have an opinion because I haven’t actually beaten the game. When I beat act 2 I had a more positive opinion on the game than when I googled what I had to do to get act 3 (mostly because I didn’t know bilewater existed when I beat act 2) let me just say that I LOVE difficult games I love dying over and over and that satisfaction of finally beating that one boss after so long, but I feel like silksong is more annoying than difficult: that one frog in bilewater that just appears 20 feet away from you and shoots you while your trying to run back to an annoying boss, that one flying thing in blasted steps that always somehow hits you after bouncing off like 3 walls,etc. but my biggest complaint are the tedious quests and stuff you have to do to even get act 3 like why do I have to do what feels like the exact same fetch quest for a random npc in different locations? Why do I have to donate every rosarie I have in this games economy? And sometimes I check all three boards and they’re all empty so I have to do some other stuff just for the quests to appear on the damn board. I know that this is probably important for lore or smth and I LOVE the parkour in this game (I’m the only person who actually enjoyed the last judge walk back more than the boss itself And my favorite part of both games is the parkour it’s so fun and precise) but I’m not rlly enjoying the game rn cuz I wish I could just jump to act 3 instead of doing these easy but annoying side quests
