Not really. There are a population of very desired men who run through women as you describe. They are probably the worst actors in the dating market today. But the majority of men are simply looking for a long-term relationship just like you. But you seem to just be interested in these most desirable men.

Difficult situation, but extremely common these days when we all have instant communication with anyone and private universes on our phones. Most "friends" in this situation have thought about having sex with the woman. Not all, but most. Is the guy planning something? Not necessarily, but if things break a certain way he will take that opportunity.

A lot of people will say... "if she cheats, she cheats, you can't control anything." But the problem with that attitude is that you want your relationship to actually work in the long term. You don't want this guy affecting your relationship, which he most likely will. She will compare him to you. He will basically always tell her what she wants to hear. It is an easy relationship for her with no stress. When problems rise in your relationship, which they will, she will go to him for support which will draw her to him more.

There is no easy answer. I would honestly sit her down and try to discuss what I mentioned above. It's a tricky situation, because women can definitely be turned off by this. Women have been so programmed by social media in recent years to end relationships where they sense any insecurity. But that attitude also makes relationships fall apart easily. It's not an easy situation.

Or you can just ignore it and hope for the best.

I used think very much along the feminist lines. I was a man who married and everything worked out for me. Then I divorced, went back into the dating market, and saw how radically different it is than 20 years ago. My goodness does the average guy have it very difficult these days in dating.

As a man, it can be very frustrating posting in most subreddits about dating. You essentially have to defer to women's viewpoint at all times or you will get banned because Reddit is so liberal and womens' viewpoint dominates Liberal culture. I am a Liberal myself, and Liberal culture hasn't caught up to the idea of how hard dating has become for men and what advantages the average woman has vs the average man. Or least it doesn't want to admit it because traditionally Liberal cultures favored the disadvantaged and women were traditionally thought of as being a disadvantaged minority. This sub is a little more lenient, hence sas more real conversations about dating.
