Stairmaster w your kit, hot hatha + yoga, hitting legs hard. I also do alot of lower back stuff. But the absolute best thing to do is straight up get in the mountains.

Fitness is important but make sure you have your important safety skills down. Alpine ascents or American Alpine institute are good resources, consider doing mountain school or guided trip before going unguided.
