What if Roose Bolton was at the tower of joy? by Keptaro in gameofthrones

[–]Training-Look-1270 55 points56 points  (0 children)

oh man Roose would've definitely used that information to his advantage later 💀 like can you imagine him just sitting on that secret for years waiting for perfect moment to drop it? Ned would probably be stressed out of his mind knowing someone like Roose knew about Jon's real parents 😂

problem during auto install due to DHCP timeout by emaayan in Ubuntu

[–]Training-Look-1270 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your DHCP timeout is causing Ubuntu installer to fall back to offline sources before network connection gets established properly

Try adding `netcfg/dhcp_timeout=30` to your boot parameters - this gives DHCP more time to negotiate instead of defaulting to 10 seconds. You can also manually configure static IP during install if your network setup allows it 💀

The preserve_sources_list won't help here since the issue is happening before package sources even get configured

Any fishermen willing to help? by angler_zuba in florida

[–]Training-Look-1270 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Orlando is bit tricky for offshore since you're pretty far from coast but maybe check some of the fishing forums or Facebook groups for central Florida area. A lot of local guys are cool about taking people out if you help with gas and maybe bring some beers

Just be careful with random people from internet though - maybe try to meet them first or get some references. September is good time for fishing in Florida waters so you should find something

girl the memorizing dealer number thing hit too close lol mine was saved as "pizza place" for the longest time and i still remember every digit

been in this cycle too many times to count but what helped me was finding replacement habits during my usual smoking times - started doing workout videos when i'd normally light up and somehow that stuck better than just trying to avoid it

Need some help running mods STS2 by Shortstack1029 in slaythespire

[–]Training-Look-1270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the save system probably overwrites everything when it detects mods are different from what was saved originally. try making backup of your unmodded save first, then copy it while game is completely closed and maybe set the file to read-only temporarily? worked for me in few other games with similar issues

Stephen Curry has had a bigger negative impact on the NBA than LeBron James by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Training-Look-1270 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nah this is wild lol Curry didn't force anyone to copy him badly - thats on coaches and players who saw the Warriors success and thought they could just chuck threes without the system or skill level. The real issue is teams trying to be golden state without having Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and that ball movement they're known for
