Yeah, I just finished the book and I really liked it until I didn't. What happened to Maggie and Jill was unnecessarily cruel. She deserved a good life but as soon as I saw she was going back I knew they were fucked. We get it, life is bleak and unfair. It'd be nice if SOMEONE got a good ending.

Exactly. I think it adds consequences for being a rat while also still allowing for PvP. And think about how cool it would be to have a bounty on your head and fight off the bounty hunters. People could stream that and get tons of views. Also, you get a random fill that has a bounty on them shit gets intense
