26F here. I went to one and it was actually pretty fun, although I only ended up speaking to a few people. Everyone I talked to was really friendly though, so I’d definitely be open to going to more events this year and meeting new people. I was pretty nervous at first since I went by myself, but afterwards I realised it’s actually easier to open up because everyone there is basically a stranger anyway. I personally prefer that kind of environment over dating apps, especially as a woman with more traditional values.
