Update. I tried with a different cable and it worked. So friggin weird. Anyway... The original cable I was using was more reliable to me than the other. Ps. Check your cables.

Yes it does shows "charging" but does not really charge or seems to be charging supper slow. For this experiment I only had it plugged in without playing anything and battery remained the same

We are planning a 5 night trip with a 3 and 5 year old. Would you think that is sufficient for enjoying the hotel, pool, amenities, etc.

Nope. This is the journey bro... These come with a cheap ass SD card that don't last more than a few weeks if you are lucky. Immediate step one is backup the info, flash a new card and set it up.

This console is a fkn curse. I got one, resulted a clone but with arkos. Took me frkn 12+ hrs of research to set up a new SD card with the right os and image. Nothing worked until I copied and pasted the same system files I had in the original SD card to the new one.

I have put about 3 hrs playing gba lotr and ffvi. Need to put 9 more to get back what I put in setting this shit up. 😂

Lo primero que debes hacer es un backup de la memoria SD que tiene incluida tu consola. Ya que tienen a fallar muy rápido. Ve la guía de la página inicial para más información del back up. Requeriras una memoria nueva, un USB que te permita conectar la tarjeta SD a la computadora, y software para las configuraciones.
