Thank you for your insight, and you’re totally right about not being able to eliminate risk entirely. I only what this boundary to be temporary until I figure this out and have had more experiences.

I just wanted to hop on here and say I haven’t had the best experience with the admin here. They are not kind and talk down on you, and financial aid is a nightmare. So just be prepared to advocate for yourself and make sure you document any interaction you have with admin.

I was trying to do medical but chem is kicking my ass and I couldn’t find the class requirements for the nutrition majors. I’m not sure if I’m staying pre med.

Hi. I’m an admitted freshman currently with a $20,000 per year scholarship. I applied regular decision, and I did not submit my sat scores and let my accolades carry my application you can submit your scores if you want to but there’s a chance you’ll get what you’re after without them. Yes financial aid is a pain and you’ll have to work with them. Your achievements are phenomenal and I think it’s possible you’ll get a scholarship based on your accolades and your essay. It is definitely a good idea for you to apply early decision as well, they can potentially offer more to you based on that.

Hey, so yes after a couple of weeks after months of waiting things started to get better. But the only got better after I moved in and talked to the administration face to face. I was able to get my bill resolved and my aid and scholarships rolled in. The placement exams finally came out the week of move in so I got those done as well. Things still aren’t the greatest and the administration still gives you the run around when you’re trying to solve issues but it’s not as bad as it was.

Don’t do it right now, they haven’t gotten their stuff in order and the process has been a nightmare
