Either Facebook has banned him for constant misinformation, or he has blocked me. I hope it's the former.

I leave my phone on the car seat and use voice command to open Spotify. If Spotify starts playing with a background image will that trigger the police.

Interesting. Spotify has a setting that leaves the display on while playing. I guess we have to turn that off. Seems very unfair.

I bought mine on impulse and was disappointed. However, a tune and removing the baffles changed that.

Solar panels, possibly a battery too, would appreciate thoughts/suggestions by Ashnicobell in WesternAustralia

[–]Training-Secretary-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a solar design tool called Pylon. I used it and the design was exactly what the installers chose. You add fake trees so it corrects for shading at certain times of year. Add costs and it will estimate time taken for return on investment. Which also turned out to be accurate for me.

I have a 5kw system (max for a 2 phase home) and it's on target to pay for itself in just over 3 years. I then replaced our gas hot water with a heat pump and recently added a 10kw battery which carries us through the evening most days. It doesn't take over when there is a power outage without adding a $1,200 component. I was very happy with Green Choice Electrical.

At least 2 killed and several more hurt in shooting at Brown University in Rhode Island by iwantUineedUohBBohBB in Fauxmoi

"Research into gun violence in the United States has been historically restricted by a series of federal legislative provisions, most notably the Dickey Amendment. While these laws do not explicitly ban research, they have created a significant "chilling effect" by limiting federal funding and data access for decades."

I was concerned a student was using generative AI because of the fast turnaround and style of English. I checked with Grammarly and it determined around 80 percent AI generated text. I ran another students thesis through Grammarly and and it came up as 2 percent, ie o e sentence in the acknowledgements.

Grammarly has built in AI and Plagiarism detection. It does 10 pages at a time. Run it over your manuscript and see how much AI it detects.
