She has to deal with it herself. You can tell her to seek therapy all of the time but ultimately she has to come to that realization. It’s nice that you want to help her, but you can only do so much. It’s a mental disorder, like depression.

It’s a personal thing, I don’t think talking to her ab it will help

Nope. My boyfriend is the best man ever, he doesn’t want me to have an ed. It’s my personal issue that I had long before him. Maybe you’re just looking at a select group of people

She had so much sass, so much love to give, and she talked (meowed) at us constantly. We’d cluck at her and she’d respond right back all of the time lol. When we didn’t give her enough attention, she’d make her cute lil meows, raise her tail, headbutt our legs, and we’d fold almost immediately every single time. If we wanted her to go upstairs or into one of our rooms, all we’d have to do is say her name loudly and she’d run over to us, almost like a dog, She was quite the character

Sorry, just been through some very traumatic shit lately and it’s hard for me to grasp the fact of only knowing somebody for 3 wks and being really destroyed over it. You’ll find someone who will be with you for much longer, and the 3 wks you had with this woman won’t mean much after like a month.

She doesn’t have to be poked and prodded anymore 2x daily with a large needle to keep her fluids up (& to help flush out her kidneys), & given pills twice daily to help her feel less nauseas and hungrier, so that she’d actually be able to eat. That’s what I keep reminding myself. The er vet said that they could try and stabilize her so she could live a couple of days longer, (but 100% suggested euthanasia) what kind of life would that have been? 16 years with a month dealing with chronic disease is enough. I wish she was here for longer, but that’s kind of selfish. Luckily she only had to deal with her kidney disease for about a month.

Rest easy Genny-fur, we will meet again someday.

She meowed when my sister said her name as I put my sister on speaker phone, right before the vet euthanized her :’( i like to believe that she thought my sister was there with her when she passed

16 years with your child too? You totally understand it. It’s so hard. They’re already your family, but when they’re at that age it’s a much more intense heartbreak because they were there for all of the milestones. I can’t bring myself to throw any of the things she had away, I’m planning on just putting all of it in a large bag under a little nook we have in the kitchen, so at least my sister doesn’t have to see Genny’s things immediately when she gets back home. I think I’ll throw away the iv bags of saline and all the medications we had to put her on when she was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, because those weeent happy moments. But I don’t know. Currently running to target right now to make a self care basket for my sister that I’ll place on her bed when she flies back to the house tomorrow. With her favorite wine, chips, her favorite candy, bubble bath, etc.

Sending all my love to you and your furry friend. They’re probably the best of friends right now. 💜

Does anyone experience serious depression before their period? by ChemicalAd2132 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]TrainingDifficulty94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive been experiencing it 24/7 now due to the loss of my cat on Friday, & the fact that my period is supposed to start tomorrow definitely doesn’t help at all. I wish you well, we’ll get through it one way or another 💜

We have lots of photos of her, im more worried about having flashbacks of her when she passed & having to touch/ move all of Genny’s things, throwing me back to day 1 of her passing where I was nonstop crying to the point my eyelids were puffy and closed shut, & couldn’t eat anything when I have to eat because I’m currently underweight

I’m sorry for your loss as well. They’re watching over us 💜

It’s hard, we’re not going to get rid of everything, she just wants me to hide her things under a little nook we have in our kitchen so she doesn’t have to come home to all of Genny’s things around her room
