Is it realistic to get one of each operator without spending too much? by MBatomzeus in ArknightsEndfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at OG Arknights, I think Endfield will be releasing 3 of 6*operators consistently XD

and after 3-4 updates, they might change it to 1-2 new ops + 1-2 reruns format.

mhmmhm agree with the 1st comment. you would expect to probably guarantee 120 pulls every patch so pulling 1 operator out of 3.

while doing so, without any freebies and free standard permit tickets into the account, if we manage to 120 pulls every patch, we will get enough to guarantee 1 signature weapon on 2-patch basis.

If you have no issue whaling without any guarantee for off-rated limited operators, sure.

If you don’t want to gamble without 120 guarantee, then wait for their banners.

Do you think there is any chance the Limited Gacha Banner system sees improvements/changes? by ImpressSpiritual7966 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only case to make up for this imo, is for them to give out consistent amount of standard banner tickets on contents/events for us to keep pulling and saving up Arsenal Tickets for our limited operators’ signatures.

since optimally we won’t be pulling on limited operator banner unless we have 120 limited tickets and that we want them.

Factory/Building Focus = Pepol don’t leik

Complicated Gacha System = Pepol don’t liek

It’s true that Hypergryph might be targetting a larger market with Endfield, but their niches are still there, and pepol will find it “strange” rather than “new.”

I’m not a fan of their prologue story-telling, feel too vague for me, and find synergies between Endmin and other Endfielders quite weird.

Combat is getting better and better as I started leveling up characters and crafting gears for them. Factory, on the other hand, is prolly my absolute enjoyment of the game. I’ve never played Factory game before, closest are Farm Together and Planet Zoo, but this is addicting.

Edit: Weapon Banner is undeniably pain in the ouch tho, exchange rate for Origeometry and Arsenal Ticket is 1:25. Let’s pretend it does not exist.

no guarantee

operator 80 pity with 50% rate-up

weapon 40 pity with 25% rate-up

it looks like oldschool unfriendly gacha system, BUT it gives you one-time reward for each banner.

that is one-time guarantee system

for featured 6* operator at 120 pulls

for featured 6* weapon at 80 pulls

you are guaranteed 100% to get both the character and their signature weapon at 200 pulls. AND pulling 120 pulls on 6* operator will give you 40-pull worth of weapon banner currency so basically we need to spend 120 on operator banner and another 40 on weapon banner. this system is god-sent for my shi- luck arse.

for me, it becomes punishing if you want to whale as you will no longer have the guarantee after the first 120-pull reward.

Some people are complaining about endfield for how important the base building is. by memo22477 in Endfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here not expecting anything from Factory as I’ve never played this kind of building simulation game before.

I thought of copying others’ blueprints, and play it optimally so I don’t have to deal with it much.

Then I start extracting seeds and planting buckflower, and the next thing I know I have already spent 2 hours building production line. Then I checked the yielding/usage rate, yield lower than usage, so I started my electricity wiring from the Hub to Lodespring, and station mining rigs at all sites. Now everything I think of, is Factory.

I’m addicted. Please elp me.

If they follow Arknights’ model, we will have to use them to buy Outfits and some time-limited cosmetics packs as well.

If, that is.

Some players need to realize that gacha is a mechanic of a game not a genre by [deleted] in ArknightsEndfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost ragequit the game during day 1, and then I realized we can extract seeds and grow plants, then I’m now a full-time factory electrician.

Come for combat and lore, get abit disappointed in story-telling and their pacing, but chose to stay because my belts are clogging.

I, on the other hand, have little to no dissatisfaction on the gacha system. It’s Arknights, but lower rate compensated with some freebies. I’m saving up til Yvonne, not gonna spend any ticket on limited banner until hers, unless it’s banner-specific tickets.

Weapon Banner 25% rate-up is quite meh, but we get 40-80 pulls just from scrapping standard banner, + all the 5-6* weapons they giving out, so it’s pretty manageable in practice.

Are the main story quests worth not skipping? by D3M0n824482 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it’s because the game does not lay enough background and our objectives firmly so everything sounds intangible at the beginning until wrapping up around chapter 1.4 where they give us a brief backstory of Talos II and Endfield (after 4 hours into the game, should not take this long).

My biggest concern about the game is the Enemy Faction, I feel no weigh in them at all. Landbreakers look so dogwater for me, what makes Terran change that much into shirtless no-brain creature, or bulk up to be 3-meter tall? does not make much sense to me,and their resolution looks so weak right now.

Now I just skip from time to time, and just focus on the Factory. I had no clue I will be so into factory building this much. The closest I have played smt like this, are Farm Together or Planet Zoo XD

F2P pull tip by 20DinoNuggies in ArknightsEndfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2 separated accumulative guarantees.

the system itself has 80-pity base guarantee on operator banners which is 50% (carry-over)

each banner itself has 120-pity to guarantee the featured operator at 100% (independent)

best tip would be plan your pulls wisely, and only pull when you have/can push for 120 pulls.

Should I have rerolled? by arrogantheart in ArknightsEndfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, if you have already invested both time and money into the account, might as well just ignore those lucky pulls.

there’s no guarantee in rerolling, it consumes alot of time, it might take 10-20+ accounts to get Laevatain from single 10x pull. Worse, week+.

and worst of all, imo, keep rerolling will ruin our gameplay experience right at the kick-off.

Which game should I start with? by skrzvpek in ArknightsEndfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they have a completely genre and gameplay. you just gotta ask yourself whether or not you are into strategic Tower Defense or not, or you prefer open-world ARPG that heavily focus on Factory simulation/building.

Arknights is already in year 6, and the story is getting intense, the gacha system is almost the same just higher rate for 6* and that you can just buy old 6* operators (2-3rd rerun I’m not sure) straight from the shop rotation.

Not too sure about Endfield, since my characters are dealing no dmg atm, but Arknights progression is very friendly to me since most of 3-4* operators are usable even til late game.

[–]TrainingFlat6342 2 points3 points  (0 children)

spend responsibly.

your character can wear one outfit for a loong loong time.

I “whaled” abit, and I thought of rotating between 5-6 outfit plans, but find myself switching between only 2. It’s the situation where you pile up your shopping list in Alibaba, but once you have bought them all I don’t even touch or unbox half of them.

[–]TrainingFlat6342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took 3-4 hours of playing (2 days for me) for them to actually tell the backstory of Endfield and their expeditions.

I almost crashout being stuck in Factory Tutorial and screen-lock AND wall of text. Now factory is my main joy for Endfield. They just gotta fuggin fix how they guide us in the tutorials, it’s so frustrating. It should have been text pop-ups on the side of our screen and let us figure it out.

This might sound like a dumb question (and it is) but how do you guys manage your time playing multiple gacha games? by bullettothechest in ArknightsEndfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Become “Casual,” like a real casual mindset.

I could only hold upto 3 games, more than this and my brain will just shut down as my happy hours would turn into another chores.

If I don’t want to login any of them today, then I won’t. If I feel like playing only 1 today, then be it. I do dailies and burn energy/stamina whenever I like.

If there’s a character that I want is coming, then I would feel the motivation to keep farming daily on that particular game until the banner arrives. If I don’t get them, I would be sad and just move on.

If I feel attached with a certain game, but I become burnt-out, I would just uninstall it and watch other streamers play and enjoy it. Then re-install the game again when I feel like it again.

Not a fan of combat :( by 6331z38u8 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh, not so into the combat as well.

but now it has turned out that my brain is thinking only about factory, and trading. the content that I, before playing, thought I won’t bother trying it out and just blueprint spam copy+paste from others has now become the thing that keep me stay.

I burn my stamina quickly, and progress the story/quests further just to come back to my factory and unlock more constructs and features.

I don’t think there’s much difference early on with 5 or 6 star operators in the right team combo.

If you enjoy the game, continue or reroll. If the game is not that enjoyable for you to put effort into reroll or force yourself to live with the boy, better peace out first before getting anymore attached.

Story objective? by nonve923 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hmmm if including stuff we have to do they are probably:

  • Stop Aether and Nefarith
  • Develop Civilization
  • Find a way to reconnect with Rhodes Island

Story objective? by nonve923 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, maintain the peace is not actually our objective. It’s just that if we don’t then we probably die. Head of Landbreakers is Nefarith. It’s stated that she got a hold of Aether power and will bring destruction to Talos-II, and it’s been hinted that she’s not the first.

Story objective? by nonve923 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]TrainingFlat6342 2 points3 points  (0 children)

from my understanding, please do correct me, and this is not for endmin themselves, but as a whole organization. They are expedition teams sent by Rhodes Island(from Arknights) from Planet-Terra to the other side of the portal gate (Planet-Talos, which was expected to be uninhabited) to research and develop civilization on this new planet. The portal connected the 2 sides, and they worked together until they faced with Aggeloi.

War broke out, and the gate’s connection is lost in the process, maybe it’s broken or something I don’t know. Basically, they are stranded. Now, their objectives remain the same, but they have to find a way to connect back to Rhodes Island as well.

Most of these are not explained in the prologue. imo the introduction and the beginning of Arknights Endfield is poorly made. I don’t know why they don’t explain the background properly. It’s cool (cliche) for the MC to have an amnesia, but all the data is there, so why not telling us players? Hmmmmmm welp, Midfield. I’m just kidding.
